PRINTING DEVICE HAVING STRUCTURE CAPABLE OF SUPPRESSING DISENGAGEMENT OF BEARING FROM HOLDER DESPITE APPLICATION OF EXTERNAL FORCE TO BEARING
A printing device includes: a platen roller having a rotational shaft, a pair of bearings, and a holder. The bearings rotatably support end portions of the rotational shaft. Each of the bearings includes: a support portion, and an engaging portion. The support portion has an outer circumferential surface. The engaging portion is provided at the outer circumferential surface of the support portion. The holder includes a pair of fitting portions. The bearings are fitted into the fitting portions, respectively. Each of the fitting portions includes: a receiving portion configured to receive the support portion, an opening portion, and an engagement portion. The engaging portion is engaged with the engagement portion, whereby an expanding deformation of the opening portion can be restrained in a case where an external force directed in a direction toward the opening portion in the first direction is applied to the bearings.
DRY INK FOR DIGITAL PRINTING
Pigment based particles in powder form intended to be used as colourants in a digital print formed by applying dry colourants on a surface, bonding a part of the colourants with a binder and removing the non-bonded colourants from the surface. A panel with a surface including a digitally formed print of macro colourants including a particle body and colour pigments attached to the surface of the particle body is also described. The colourants are arranged in patterns with pigments on an upper and lower surface of the particle body.

DEVICE FOR CODING PRINTING SHEETS IN A SHEET-FED PRESS
The invention relates to a sheet-fed press (10) comprising a sheet feeding device (11) for introducing sheets that are to be printed into the sheet-fed press, at least one printing unit (12) and/or coating unit (13) for printing the sheets with a static printed image that is identical for all sheets, a discharging mechanism (14) for discharging printed sheets from the sheet-fed press, and at least one printing device (1) which includes no printing form and is integrated into the sheet-fed press (10) to print the sheets with an especially dynamic, variable printed image. According to the invention, the printing device (1) is integrated in the region of a supply strip (19) in the sheet-fed press (10) which guides a stream of products to the first of the printing units (12).
Can printing apparatus
A can printing apparatus 1 includes a main printer 2 having plural plate cylinders 47 for printing different colors and performing printing onto side surfaces of cans, a secondary printer 6 performing additional printing to the side surfaces of the cans after the printing by the main printer, and a can inspection machine 5 inspecting a printing state. The can inspection machine 5 includes a can rotation device 51 which rotates cans C, a can imaging device 52 which takes images of the cans C and an image processing device 53 which processes the taken images, and the secondary printer 6 includes a printing head 6a which faces a side surface of a can held by the can rotation device 51 of the can inspection machine 5 and a processing unit which gives an instruction of printing to the printing head 6a based on a predetermined printing pattern and processing data of the image processing device 53 of the can inspection machine 5.
NUMBER PRINTING APPARATUS
In order to provide a numbering and imprinting machine capable of minimizing the amount of wasted paper produced, the numbering and imprinting machine is provided with: a first-number inspection camera (124B) that is arranged downstream of the position of contact between an impression cylinder (112) and a first-number cylinder (113) of a first-number printing unit (111) in the direction of rotation of the impression cylinder (112), and images a first number printed on paper (W) held on the impression cylinder (112); a second number inspection camera (124C) that is arranged downstream of the position of contact between an impression cylinder (117) and a second-number cylinder (118) of a second-number printing unit (116) in the direction of rotation of the impression cylinder (117), and images a second number printed on paper (W) held on the impression cylinder (117); and a printing-press control device (10) that controls first- and second-number-cylinder throw-on and throw-off devices (38, 39) based on signals from the first- and second-number inspection cameras (124B, 124C) to cause the first-number cylinder (113) and the second-number cylinder (118) to make separating movements.
DIGITAL THERMAL BINDER AND POWDER PRINTING
A method of forming a digital print on a surface (2) by applying powder of dry ink (15) including colourants (7) on the surface, bonding a part of the dry ink (15) powder to the surface (2) by a digital heating print head (80) such that the digital print is formed by the bonded dry ink colourants (7) and removing non-bonded dry ink (15) from the surface (2).
System and method for producing medical packaging
The invention relates to a system and a method for manufacturing a medical package, in particular a foil bag made of plastic. A print image with variable information is first applied by means of a thermal transfer printer which is formed as a negative print image and comprises blank spaces. The blank spaces are filled by means of a hot stamp printing process.
