A gripper carriage transports a sheet in a sheet transport direction along a sheet transport path. The gripper carriage has a wall and a reflector. The reflector is associated with a flank of the wall which is trailing, in relation to the sheet transport direction.
Simultaneous recto-verso printing press
There is described a recto-verso printing press (100*) adapted to carry out simultaneous recto-verso printing of sheets, the printing press (100*) comprising a main printing group (5, 6, 15, 16, 25, 26) with first and second printing cylinders (5, 6) cooperating with one another to form a first printing nip between the first and second printing cylinders (5, 6) where first and second sides of sheets are simultaneously printed, the first printing cylinder (5) acting as a sheet conveying cylinder of the main printing group (5, 6, 15, 16, 25, 26). The printing press (100*) further comprises an additional printing group (7, 8, 17, 18, 27, 28) with third and fourth printing cylinders (7, 8) cooperating with one another to form a second printing nip between the third and fourth printing cylinders (7, 8) where the first and second sides of the sheets are simultaneously printed, the third printing cylinder (7) acting as a sheet conveying cylinder of the additional printing group (7, 8, 17, 18, 27, 28). The main printing group (5, 6, 15, 16, 25, 26) and the additional printing group (7, 8, 7, 18, 27, 28) are coupled to one another by means of an intermediate sheet conveying system comprising one or more sheet-transfer cylinders (10, 10, 10)interposed between the first and third printing cylinders (5, 7).
Simultaneous recto-verso printing press
There is described a recto-verso printing press (100*) adapted to carry out simultaneous recto-verso printing of sheets, the printing press (100*) comprising a main printing group (5, 6, 15, 16, 25, 26) with first and second printing cylinders (5, 6) cooperating with one another to form a first printing nip between the first and second printing cylinders (5, 6) where first and second sides of sheets are simultaneously printed, the first printing cylinder (5) acting as a sheet conveying cylinder of the main printing group (5, 6, 15, 16, 25, 26). The printing press (100*) further comprises an additional printing group (7, 8, 17, 18, 27, 28) with third and fourth printing cylinders (7, 8) cooperating with one another to form a second printing nip between the third and fourth printing cylinders (7, 8) where the first and second sides of the sheets are simultaneously printed, the third printing cylinder (7) acting as a sheet conveying cylinder of the additional printing group (7, 8, 17, 18, 27, 28). The main printing group (5, 6, 15, 16, 25, 26) and the additional printing group (7, 8, 7, 18, 27, 28) are coupled to one another by means of an intermediate sheet conveying system comprising one or more sheet-transfer cylinders (10, 10, 10)interposed between the first and third printing cylinders (5, 7).
Inspection system for in-line inspection of printed material produced on an intaglio printing press
There is described an inspection system (50) for in-line inspection of sheet or web material on an intaglio printing press, wherein the inspection system comprises an optical quality control apparatus for carrying out inspection of a printed area on a printed side of the sheet or web material, the optical quality control apparatus including a camera system (55) with one or more camera units each comprising at least one line-scan camera (56) for scanning and acquiring an image of the printed area while the sheet or web material is being transported in the intaglio printing press past the camera system (55). A location of the at least one line-scan camera (56) in the intaglio printing press along a delivery path of the sheet or web material is such that cyclical vibrations that spread periodically throughout the intaglio printing press during operation of the intaglio printing press do not occur while the camera system (55) is scanning the printed area of the sheet or web material and acquiring a complete image of the printed area.
Inspection system for in-line inspection of printed material produced on an intaglio printing press

An image forming apparatus includes: a holding body configured to hold a formed image; a conveyance unit configured to convey a recording medium with a leading end of the recording medium gripped by a gripping portion; and a transfer body including a recessed portion that accommodates the gripping portion and is provided along a direction substantially orthogonal to a rotational direction, configured to sandwich the recording medium conveyed by the conveyance unit between the transfer body and the holding body to transfer an image on the holding body to the recording medium conveyed by the conveyance unit, and including a slope surface provided at a leading end of a portion of an outer circumference not including a portion where the recessed portion is provided, the leading end being on a front end side in the rotational direction, a distance from the slope surface to a rotational center becoming larger toward a downstream side in the rotational direction.

Circulating feeding printer combining screen printing and digital ink jetting
A circulating feeding printer combining screen printing and digital ink jetting, includes a rack. The rack includes an upper rack layer and a lower rack layer, and the two layers are respectively provided with a transmission platen capable of moving relative to the rack. Each transmission platen is provided with a movable printing platen bearing a print medium capable of sliding relative to the transmission platen, a locking device locking the movable printing platen, and the transmission platen is arranged between them. The platen transfer devices capable of transferring the movable printing platen onto the transmission platen at the different layer are disposed on the rack, separately located at two sides of the transmission platens. The rack is further provided with a screen printer and an inkjet printer used for printing separately.
Circulating feeding printer combining screen printing and digital ink jetting
A circulating feeding printer combining screen printing and digital ink jetting, includes a rack. The rack includes an upper rack layer and a lower rack layer, and the two layers are respectively provided with a transmission platen capable of moving relative to the rack. Each transmission platen is provided with a movable printing platen bearing a print medium capable of sliding relative to the transmission platen, a locking device locking the movable printing platen, and the transmission platen is arranged between them. The platen transfer devices capable of transferring the movable printing platen onto the transmission platen at the different layer are disposed on the rack, separately located at two sides of the transmission platens. The rack is further provided with a screen printer and an inkjet printer used for printing separately.
PRINTING METHOD AND PRINTING DEVICE
A printing unit has a printing form cylinder, an impression cylinder opposite the printing form cylinder and at least one substrate carrier apparatus with which a printing substrate is moved through between the printing form cylinder and the impression cylinder, wherein the substrate is printed in a printing region between the two cylinders. The substrate carrier apparatus is moved linearly during a uniform rotation of the two cylinders along a linearly extending track, limited in length by a longitudinal extension of the printing unit. The substrate carrier apparatus is accelerated from a resting start position to an operating speed, to be reached upon reaching the printing region, the substrate carrier apparatus is moved at least in the printing region at constant speed, and the substrate carrier apparatus is decelerated after leaving the printing region to a resting end position on the track.
