Drying assembly
A drying assembly is disclosed. An example apparatus includes fans; a temperature sensor; a print engine to access instructions to cause a printer to perform a printing operation on media; and a processor responsive to an output of the temperature sensor to control the fans to force air onto the media to cause a substantially uniform temperature to be maintained across a width of the media during the printing operation and to cause a sum of air flow output by the fans to be maintained at a substantially constant value.

GAS IMPINGEMENT DEVICE, RECORDING SUBSTRATE TREATMENT APPARATUS AND PRINTING SYSTEM COMPRISING SUCH GAS IMPINGEMENT DEVICE
A gas impingement device includes a first surface including a pattern of a plurality of gas outlets, the pattern including a number of substantially parallel rows of gas outlets, the rows arranged in a direction, which direction is at a skew angle α with a front edge of the first surface of the gas impingement device. A recording substrate treatment apparatus and a printing system including such a gas impingement device and a method of drying a recording substrate by using the gas impingement device are also disclosed.
FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING MACHINE FOR PRINTING A SUBSTRATE WEB
A flexographic printing press for printing a substrate web comprises at least one printing unit and at least one central cylinder. A plurality of printing couples are arranged around the periphery of the at least one central cylinder. A horizontally aligned dryer unit, having at least one guide element, is arranged above the printing unit in a vertical direction. The at least one horizontally aligned dryer unit has at least two dryer sections with one dryer section being arranged separated from the next dryer section by at least one diverting assembly. The at least one flexographic printing press has at least one roll unwinder and at least one roll winder. The at least one roll unwinder and the at least one roll winder are arranged on opposite sides of the at least one central cylinder.
PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR DECORATING MANUFACTURED ARTICLES BY MEANS OF THERMOSETTING POWDER PAINT
An apparatus decorates manufactured articles via thermosetting powder paint. The apparatus contains a decoration station with a plane, a decoration unit having a rotating cylinder supported by a carriage movable along the longitudinal extension of the manufactured articles, and a system for applying the paint to the cylinder and transferring the paint onto the manufactured articles. The outer surface of the cylinder has engraved cavities, which represent the pattern to be reproduced on the manufactured articles and are designed to contain the paint. The system has a reservoir to contain the paint, which contacts the outer surface of the cylinder and is introduced into the cavities. The reservoir has a bottom with a free end placed close to the outer engraved surface of the cylinder to identify a point for the fall of the paint from the cavities to the manufactured articles during the rotation of the cylinder.
