Device and method for identifying a change in a predetermined condition
In an embodiment, a device and method for identifying a change in a predetermined condition. The device is a patch injected with ink that transforms in response to a change in the predetermined condition, such as, a change in temperature or change in the ultraviolet (UV) index level. The ink includes thermochromic ink that transforms or identifiably changes based on a change in a temperature condition, and/or photochromic ink that transforms or identifiably changes based on a change in an UV index level condition. When temperature increases or decreases to reach one or more threshold temperature values, the thermochromic ink transforms in an identifiable manner to indicate a condition has be met. When the UV index level increase or decrease to reach one or more threshold UV index levels, the photochromic ink transforms in an identifiable manner to indicate that a condition has be met.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE CONTROL AND THE MANAGEMENT OF THE PRINTING PARAMETERS OF A FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING MACHINE
The present invention relates to a device or method for detecting and adjusting the printing parameters in flexographic printing machines.
Anilox roller, particularly for flexographic printing machines
An anilox roller for flexographic printing machines, which comprises a sleeve cylinder rotatably supported about its own axis by the fixed structure of a flexographic printing machine, and an anilox sleeve, which has a tubular body provided, on its outer side wall, with an anilox surface which can be axially fitted on and removed from the sleeve cylinder. Forced circulation of a temperature control fluid within the tubular body is further provided.
HEATING DRUM FOR THERMAL TRANSFER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A heating drum for thermal transfer includes: a cylindrical outer tube; an inner tube having a smaller diameter than the outer tube, and disposed inside the outer tube; a rotating shaft fixed to the center of the inner tube via connecting members; covers configured to form a heat transfer oil accommodating space by sealing a space between the inner tube and the outer tube that is opened to the outside; heaters installed to pass through the covers, and configured to heat the sealed heat transfer oil accommodating space; holders disposed between the inner tube and the outer tube, and configured to support the heaters; a valve configured to control the discharge of the internal air of the heat transfer oil accommodating space; and heat transfer oil filled in the heat transfer oil accommodating space.
Printing system
A printing system (10) is provided for printing on a material, comprising an ink formulation module (12) comprising at least one ink reservoir (14) and an ink adjustment system (16), a printing unit (18) for applying ink to the material, a sensor module (22) comprising at least one probe (24) for generating color measurement data, and a control module (25) being connected to the ink formulation module (12), the sensor module (22) and the printing unit (18). The color measurement data comprises at least one ink color value of the ink before being applied on the material by the printing unit (18). The control module (25) is configured to receive the color measurement data from the sensor module (22) and to transmit an ink adjustment request to the ink formulation module (12), wherein the ink formulation module (12) is configured to adjust the ink composition of the ink in the at least one ink reservoir (14) based on the ink adjustment request.
PRINTING ON A GARMENT
An example method for printing on a garment is described, comprising placing the garment on a support tray, depositing a first printing fluid on the garment and a second printing fluid on the first printing fluid, and providing heat from the support tray to the garment after depositing the first printing fluid and before depositing the second printing fluid, to dry the first printing fluid at least partially. An example apparatus for direct-to-garment printing is also described, comprising printheads for depositing a first printing fluid and a second printing fluid, and a support tray for the garment, the support tray comprising a heating element.
Printing apparatus and method for producing printed item
A printing apparatus includes a printing pad having a printing surface configured to be deformed to conform to a shape of a surface of an item to be printed, a printing original plate stage on which a printing original plate is placed, the printing original plate having a placement surface on which ink is placed, a printing stage provided for placing the item to be printed, and a blower configured to send air toward the printing surface of the printing pad. The printing pad is movable between the printing original plate stage and the printing stage, and is vertically movable from and to the printing original plate stage or the printing stage, and the blower sends air toward the printing surface of the printing pad in a state where the ink on the placement surface of the printing original plate is transferred to the printing surface.
