Nestable, stackable portable toilet and method of assembling same
A portable toilet is disclosed that has a base and a housing with the base and the housing being configured to be stored and transported to a site as a stack of bases and a stack of housings. The toilet is assembled by telescopically installed one of the housings onto a base where the upwardly extending walls of the base are received within the walls of the housing and where the housing is preferably snap locked to the base. The housing may be disassembled from its base by deflecting one of the housing walls outwardly. A method of storing, transporting and assembling such a portable toilet is also disclosed.
Method, Apparatus, and System for Implementing Seat Lifting
Novel tools and techniques might provide for implementing seat lifting. In various embodiments, a seat lifter might include one or more first pistons, one or more second pistons, and a seat portion. The one or more first pistons, when actuated (e.g., in response to user input), might cause a rear portion of the seat portion to lift relative to a front portion of the seat portion, the rear portion of the seat portion being lifted by a first height above a seat to which the seat lifter is affixed. The one or more second pistons, when actuated, might cause the front portion of the seat portion to lift by a second height above the seat, the second height being less than the first height. In some instances, the first pistons and the second pistons might be actuated serially (in either order), or might be actuated concurrently.

TEMPORARY FURNITURE
To provide a preferable piece of temporary furniture which is less burdensome with respect to preparation, assembly and the like, and which is not subject to the problem of size mismatch between a piece of furniture and a partition. A partition-equipped bed 1, which is a piece of temporary furniture suitable for emergency use, comprises a partition and a piece of furniture which are both made of corrugated boards and are connected together. The entire partition-equipped bed 1 can be folded into a flat shape, and can be opened up from the folded state into a three-dimensional shape in the manner of a pop-up book, thus forming a partition-equipped piece of furniture that stands on the floor.
