TINE HARROW

A tine harrow has a plurality of harrow tines mounted on and downwardly depending from a harrow frame. The tines are configured to be movable between a lowered position and a raised position, and at least one tine lowerable or raiseable to a different relative position in relation to a surface of a field than others of the tines. The ability to lower and raise individual tines or rows of tines to different positions in relation to a surface of a field provides more effective response of the tine harrow to changing land conditions. The positions to which individual tines or rows of tines are lowered or raised may be selectively set to further enhance effectiveness of the response of the tine harrow to changing land conditions.

Tillage implement with intra-wing gang offset

A tillage implement has a main frame, a hinged wing and a plurality of gangs each having tools along its length. The plurality of gangs includes a main frame gang mounted to the main frame and inner and outer wing gangs mounted to the wing. The inner and outer wing gangs have inner ends that are forward or rearward with respect to the direction of travel of outer ends, and the lengths of the inner and outer wing gangs are offset from each other in the direction of travel.

Agricultural implement with tine assembly

An agricultural implement assembly, which may comprise a support frame and a tine support structure for supporting a plurality of tine members. The assembly may comprise a clamping mechanism operable for securing the tine members to the tine support structure. The clamping mechanism comprises an upper clamping arm, a lower clamping arm and a medial connecting member which are operable to securely hold or otherwise constrain the tine members against or in close proximity to the tine support structure. The clamping mechanism may comprise a tine angled portion engaging component operable to engage an upper surface of the angled end portion of the tine member. The upper and lower clamping arms may comprise at least one upper ridge and at least one lower ridge for engaging in contact with a first portion and a second portion respectively of outward facing surface regions of the tine support structure.

An agricultural implement includes: a chassis; a hitch connected to the chassis; and a harrow carried by the chassis. The harrow includes: a tine frame having at least one clamp tab; and at least one tine clamped to the tine frame by the at least one clamp tab, the at least one tine including a clamped portion with a pair of opposite ends and a pair of vertically descending teeth, each of the vertically descending teeth being connected to a respective end of the clamped portion.

SYSTEM FOR ADJUSTING DOWN PRESSURE LOADS ON GROUND ENGAGING ELEMENTS OF AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
20180124991 · 2018-05-10 · ·

A system for adjusting down pressure loads on a harrow of an agricultural implement may include a base hitch member and an upper tow arm pivotally coupled to the base hitch member. First and second linkage arms may pivotally couple to the upper tow arm. A lower support arm may pivotally couple to the first and second linkage arms. A plurality of ground engaging elements may be supported on the lower support arm. A tensioner assembly may include an actuator coupled between the base hitch member and the lower support arm. The actuator may include an actuator rod that extend and retract to adjust a relative distance between the base hitch member and the lower support arm. The actuator may regulate a down pressure applied on the plurality of ground engaging elements by adjusting the relative distance between the base hitch member and the lower support arm.
