20190275808 · 2019-09-12 ·

The present invention refers to a plant (1) for printing a fibrous material (T). The printing plant (1) comprises: a station (14) for supplying a fibrous material configured for supplying the fibrous material along a predetermined operative path, a treating station (10) configured for treating the fibrous material with a treatment composition by applying the composition itself on a first side (T1) of the fibrous material (T); and a printing station (6) configured for ink-printing at least part of a second side (T2) of the fibrous material (T) opposite to the first side (T1). Moreover, the present invention refers to a process of printing a fibrous material.

DE-CONTENTED FLUID EJECTION

In example implementations, a system is provided. The system includes at least one fluid ejection apparatus, a heater and an energy source. The at least one fluid ejection apparatus dispenses a de-contented fluid onto a substrate during conveyance of the substrate. The heater is arranged after the at least one fluid ejection apparatus along a substrate conveying path. The heater removes a liquid from the de-contented fluid on the substrate such that the particles of the de-contented fluid remain on the substrate. The energy source is arranged after the heater along the substrate conveying path. The energy source applies energy to the substrate during the conveyance of the substrate to heat the substrate to a temperature that is approximately a melting temperature of the substrate to fuse the particles on the substrate to the substrate.

Printing apparatus

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a printing apparatus that satisfactorily sucks and recovers a printhead is provided. A printing apparatus that includes a transfer member, and the first and second printheads has the following arrangement. The apparatus includes the first and second suction units which suck a plurality of nozzles of the first and second printheads, a common negative-pressure generation unit which generates a negative-pressure for suction by these suction units, and a moving unit which moves these suction units from one end to the other end of each printhead. Then, the moving unit moves the first and second suction units so as to pass through concave gaps with respect to ink discharge surfaces of the first and second printheads corresponding to the first and second suction units at different timings.

A machine for indirect ink-jet printing and more generally to a machine for indirect digital printing. A first transfer roller is at a printing position at which it provides ink to a first printing roller. The first printing roller engages and transfers ink onto a counter roller for the printing. When its printing has been completed, the first printing roller is moved to a storage position. A second printing roller is selectively moved from a waiting position to the working position to provide ink. The rollers are moved along guides between their positions.

PRINTING METHOD

Provided is a printing method which enables formation of a high-definition printing pattern with high productivity. The printing method includes a treatment liquid application step of applying a treatment liquid, in a treatment liquid set pattern, to a pattern formation region of a printing plate in the printing plate on which a pattern has been formed; an ink application step of applying an ink, in an ink set pattern, to the pattern formation region of the printing plate to which the treatment liquid has been applied; and a transfer step of transferring the ink applied to the pattern formation region of the printing plate to a substrate. The treatment liquid is used for increasing a second diameter of the ink after application of the treatment liquid compared to a first diameter of the ink landed on the pattern formation region without application of the treatment liquid.

Flexographic printer and box-making machine

A flexographic printer is provided with: a printing plate for transferring ink at an ink transfer site to an object to be printed S; an anilox roll for supplying ink to the printing plate at an ink supply site; a plate cylinder on which the printing plate is wound and rotated; and an ink solvent supply unit for supplying a solvent for the ink on the surface of the printing plate in a post-ink transfer region that is downstream of the ink transfer site in the plate cylinder rotation direction and upstream of the ink supply site in the plate cylinder rotation direction.
