METHOD FOR EFFICIENT FAN-OUT CONTROL
A printing method with fan-out control minimizes register deviations by using a computer. The method includes: printing a test print including various color separations, measuring the register deviations that have occurred relative to a reference color, calculating the absolute total of the register deviations of all color separations relative to one another, selecting at least one color separation to be adapted as a function of the calculated absolute total of all color separations, adapting the at least one selected color separation, and compensating for the register deviations that have occurred by creating and using at least one printing plate for the adapted at least one color separation.
REGISTER ERROR AMOUNT DETECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS
A register error amount detection apparatus obtains the register error amounts between the colors of patterns printed on a printing product based on the positions of register marks in a captured image of the printing product. The register marks have different colors including a reference color and are printed in a line at intervals a in the vertical direction. The register marks all have the reference color and are printed in a line at the intervals a in the vertical direction at positions translated from the positions of the register marks by a distance b in the horizontal direction.

A coating device for the register-accurate application of plastic material to a carrier sheet comprises a first coating roll and a downstream second coating roll, wherein each of the first and second coating rolls has at least one cavity that can be filled with plastic material by means of at least one nozzle. First and second stripping means strip the respective first and second coating rolls. The first coating roll interacts with a first mating roll and coats a first carrier sheet side and the second coating roll interacts with a second mating roll and coats a second carrier sheet side. The second mating roll comprises at least one mating cavity corresponding to the at least one first cavity. In addition, the coating device comprises at least one carrier sheet positioning device and a coated region detection device. Related methods of coating a carrier sheet are also disclosed.
Screen printing device and method for screen printing onto substrates
The application relates to a printing device for printing onto substrates, in particular solar cells, wafers or printed circuit boards, including a squeegee means and including at least one printing table, wherein the squeegee means is arranged above the printing table, and including at least one conveying means, by means of which a substrate can be transported away in each case to a printing nest below the squeegee direction and away out of the printing nest after the printing process has taken place. It is provided that the printing table has several conveying means, which are arranged side by side and aligned parallel to one another and which each have at least one printing nest, and that the squeegee means has at least one squeegee, which can be moved over each printing nest in order to print successively onto the substrates, which are arranged in the printing nests.
INSPECTION APPARATUS AND INSPECTION SYSTEM
An inspection apparatus includes a receiving unit that receives a first image, a registration unit that generates a second image in which multiple first images are continuously arranged based on the first image if the received first image meets a predetermined condition to register the second image as a sample image, a reader that reads a read image, and an inspection unit that inspects a print based on the sample image and the read image read by the reader from the print resulting from formation of an image on a sheet by an image formation unit.
System for determining suitability of printing component set in screen printing device and method for determining suitability of set printing component
A method of determining whether printing components suitable for a type of a substrate are correctly set in a screen printing device that makes a mask provided with a pattern hole abut on the substrate, supplies paste onto the mask, and slides a squeegee to thereby print the paste on the substrate through the pattern hole, includes reading identification marks attached to respective printing components, verifying pieces of component information corresponding to the read identification marks using pieces of component information allocated to the substrate in advance in production data, and informing purport when a printing component having discordant component information is present in the verification. The printing components include at least a mask, a squeegee, and paste.
Method for automated position detection by defining an evaluation region of a register sensor
A method for defining an evaluation region of a register sensor for detecting register marks on printing substrates in printing substrate processing machines includes connecting the register sensor to a computer. In a first step, the register sensor measures an edge of a printing substrate, starting from the edge, the evaluation region is set to a starting value, and in at least one second step, the evaluation region is set to an increased value until the register sensor detects a first edge of the register mark.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE OPERATION OF A PRINTING PRESS AND A FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING PRESS FOR IMPLEMENTING SAID METHOD
The present invention relates to a method for controlling the operation of a printing press and a flexographic printing press for implementing said method, wherein the method comprises performing the following steps: a) capturing information from at least one image printed by said printing press; and b) comparing said information captured from said printed image with at least some digital-format information predetermined in prepress, or digital prepress information, including at least one part of the image to be printed. The method comprises adjusting the pressure and/or register setting of one or more printing units of the printing press, using at least the result of the comparison in said step b). The press is designed in order to implement the method.
Printing of multiple inks to achieve precision registration during subsequent processing
A method of achieving precision registration in a roll to roll process by simultaneously depositing multiple inks onto a printing roll. One of these inks prints a pattern of fiducial marks onto a substrate while another ink prints a predetermined pattern on the same substrate such that the predetermined pattern bears a predictable spatial relationship to the pattern of fiducial marks. Consequently, even if the ink forming the predetermined pattern is invisible, or has such low contrast with the substrate that it is effectively invisible, or even has been dissolved away in a subsequent processing step, it is still possible to know where the predetermined pattern is by referring to the pattern of fiducial marks.
