LOCK RING WITH BLOCKING KEYS
In some examples, an apparatus can include a base plate to interface with a printing device, where the base plate includes an extension member having a pawl, and a lock ring, where the lock ring includes a blocking key, where the lock ring is to interface with the base plate such that the blocking key prevents rotation of the extension member to lock the base plate to the printing device.
Printing plate segment mounting system and method
A mounting unit, or printing system including a mounting unit, for mounting printing plate segments on a carrier sheet. The mounting unit includes a base for receiving the carrier sheet, at least two cameras, a controller for positioning the cameras relative to the base, and a computer connected to the controller and cameras. The computer is configured to receive a mounting file including a printing plate segment identifier, information regarding alignment of registration marks relative to the carrier sheet; and image data corresponding to a characteristic pattern associated with each printing plate segment. The unit is configured to display a composite image depicting the image data corresponding to the characteristic patterns in a predetermined arrangement of printing plate segment locations and orientations overlaid on an image of the carrier sheet from one of the at least two cameras.

PRINTING MACHINE AND METHOD OF OPERATING A PRINTING MACHINE
A printing machine (10) comprises a doctor blade (14), a drive system (20) for urging the doctor blade (14) against a printing cylinder (16) of the printing machine (10), a sensor (32) adapted for sensing a force with which the doctor blade (14) is urged against the printing cylinder (16), and a mechanical locking element (34) adapted for locking the drive system (20) in its operating position.
Further, a method of operating a printing machine (10) is presented.
PRINTING CONTROL DEVICE AND PRINTING CONTROL METHOD
A printing control device includes a determination section, a first printing control section, a movement controller, and a second printing control section. When the determination section determines that an elapsed time in which no board is convey exceeds an allowable time, the first printing control section causes the printer to execute the printing process for a first time on a first board which is conveyed in since the determination is made. The movement controller separates the mask and the board from each other after the first printing control section executes the printing process for the first time and brings the mask and the board into abutment with each other again after the separation. The second printing control section causes the printer to execute the printing process for a second time on the board after the movement controller brings the mask and the board into abutment with each other again.
PRINTING MACHINE FOR PRINTING A LAMINAR WEB
Printing machine, for printing a laminar web, comprising a feeding unit (10) defining a printing area (A); an inkjet printing station (20) comprising a plurality of inkjet printing modules (21) slidably arranged along a transverse guide (22); a positioning device (30) adapted to precisely slide the inkjet printing modules (21) along the transverse guide (22); wherein each inkjet printing module (21) includes a first coupling (31) and is independent from other inkjet printing modules (21) allowing an independent movement of each inkjet printing module (21) along the transverse guide (22); and the positioning device (30) includes a second coupling (32) complementary to each first coupling (31), the second coupling (32) being releasably engageable to each first coupling (31) in an automatic manner, the positioning device (30) being configured to precisely slide each inkjet printing module (21) engaged thereto, along the transverse guide (22).
Device for producing printed products
The present invention pertains to a device for producing printed products comprising an arrangement of cooperating rollers that are arranged parallel to one another, wherein at least the gap width between the rollers of one roller pair is adjustable. For this purpose, one roller of the pair is pivotably mounted by means of a pivot arm, wherein a driver arranged on the pivot arm displaces a linearly movable reference element by means of a sliding block guide such that the position of this reference element corresponds to the adjusted gap width. The sliding block guide is preferably realized in such a way that the gap width and the position of the reference element are proportionally correlated.

ROTARY SCREEN PRINTER
A rotary screen printing press is provided with a screen-cylinder throw-on/off motor encoder (231) that detects the position of a screen cylinder (201), a squeegee throw-on/off motor encoder (232) that detects the position of a squeegee (221), and a control unit (300) that controls screen cylinder throw-on/off motors (209) and squeegee throw-on/off motors (224) based on the position of the screen cylinder (201) detected by the screen-cylinder throw-on/off motor encoder (231) and the position of the squeegee (221) detected by the squeegee throw-on/off motor encoder (232) so that the squeegee (221) may not contact a screen plate (201A) except when the screen plate (201A) is in contact with an impression cylinder (100).
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR THE SUBSEQUENT PROCESSING OF PRINTED PRODUCTS
A device and method for the processing of printed products with one or more transport systems for transporting the printed products between processing stations comprises a transport path lighting system that is divided into segments, wherein the type of illumination of such a segment is with respect to its color, intensity and/or variation in time defined by certain properties of the product located in this section or its production history.
