A printer/encoder system is provided for mounting to a mobile unit, such as a forklift-type vehicle. The printer/encoder system is adapted for printing and encoding one or more media units that may be stored in a media supply assembly of the printer/encoder system. The printer/encoder system may be mounted to the mobile unit using a mobile unit mounting assembly having a shock resistance system for protecting at least portions of the printer/encoder system from mechanical shocks or vibrations that are commonly associated with mobile unit movement. The printer/encoder system may include an encoder assembly structured to encode a transponder, such as a radio frequency identification (RFID) transponder, on a media unit. The printer/encoder system may include an encoder assembly having a modular design.

A recording device includes a first cover that is movable with respect to a recording unit that performs recording on a sheet, and that moves to a first open position for opening a space where the recording medium to be recorded by the recording unit is transported, and to a first closed position for closing the space, and a second cover movable with respect to the first cover. A movement direction of the first cover includes the same directional component as a movement direction of the second cover with respect to the recording unit, and a first coupling portion that couples the first cover and the second cover is provided in the recording device.

Surrounding sounds are recorded while the meeting is being held. A recording apparatus includes: an apparatus main body having a recording unit that performs recording onto a recording medium; and a unit body which is provided on an upper side of the apparatus main body, and forms a plurality of boundaries between the unit body and a top of the apparatus main body, wherein a recess that receives liquid entering through a gap is formed for each of the plurality of boundaries.

A technique advantageous to stably holding a reading apparatus relative to a printing apparatus is provided. A printing system includes a recording apparatus and a reading apparatus. The recording apparatus includes a housing that incorporates a printing unit that performs printing on a recording medium. The housing includes a front surface portion having a discharge port for discharging the recording medium on which printing is performed, a back surface portion facing the front surface portion, and a side surface portion connecting the front surface portion with the back surface portion. The printing system includes a holding unit connected to the housing at least at one end, and holding the reading apparatus above the housing. The holding unit includes a first fixing member for fixing to the back surface portion, and a second fixing member for fixing to the side surface portion.

An endless image transfer belt (116) has a circumferential configuration with an inner surface opposite a printing surface. A printing site (124) is located along the endless image transfer belt (116). A container body handling module (200) delivers container bodies (14) to the printing site (124).

In the present disclosure, a target position of the detected object may be marked in the ultrasonic detection process.

A digital camera with a printer is a digital camera with a printer and includes a communication unit that communicates with a digital camera with a printer that is another apparatus, and an image composition unit that generates a composite image in which a first image captured by the digital camera with a printer that is an owned apparatus and a second image captured by the other apparatus are composited, in which the communication unit transmits the composite image to the other apparatus. A user of the other apparatus can also obtain the composite image. Accordingly, the composite image can be enjoyed by capturing images using a plurality of cameras.
