Untaken sheet notification device, document feeder, and image forming apparatus
An untaken sheet notification device to notify that the sheet is untaken from an ejection tray if an ejection tray sensor that detects presence or absence of the sheet on the ejection tray detects presence of the sheet, after a sheet is ejected, a document feeder, and an image forming apparatus include a counter that counts the number of the ejected sheets and a notification controller that performs a specific notification control to notify that the sheet is untaken if the number of the sheets counted by the counter is equal to or less than a predetermined reference number.
Liquid discharge apparatus
A liquid discharge apparatus includes a liquid discharge unit and a contact detection unit. The liquid discharge unit has a liquid discharge port from which a liquid is discharged toward an object. The liquid discharge unit is movable along at least one of a first axis and a second axis intersecting the first axis and movable along a third axis intersecting the first axis and the second axis. The third axis is parallel to a direction in which the liquid is discharged from the liquid discharge port toward the object. The contact detection unit detects contact of the liquid discharge unit with the object. The contact detection unit is detachably attached to the liquid discharge unit.
Printing apparatus and method of controlling printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a first discharge path that discharges a sheet and a second discharge path different from the first discharge path. An angle difference between a direction in which the sheet is discharged in the second discharge path and a conveyance direction of a conveyance roller is less than an angle difference between a direction in which the sheet is discharged in the first discharge path and the conveyance direction of the conveyance roller. The printing apparatus includes a control unit that discharges the sheet on which the image is printed using the second discharge path even in a case where an instruction to print an image indicates discharging the sheet to the first discharge path, if the sheet conveyed by the conveyance roller is a sheet having a thickness equal to or greater than a predetermined value.
System and Method for Decorating Suitcases and Luggage Items
A system for stamping suitcases and luggage items, by in-line digital printing and drying, in a single pass, including: a printing module configured to print an image on one side of the suitcase with at least one printing head and one drying lamp; movement means for moving the items to be printed, with an individual conveyor belt, synchronised with the injector and the drying lamp, and movement means formed by a plurality of individual conveyors synchronised to operate according to the presence or absence of suitcases on adjacent conveyors, preventing them from impacting each other; and a traceability-tracking system configured to determine the position of each suitcase, by means of a unique two-dimensional identification code associated with each item, or by means of supervision of an operator. It also includes trays for coupling those suitcases that have an uneven shape, controlling the movement thereof and the correct alignment of the side to be printed.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes plural rotating members that are rotatable; an annular circulating member that is wound around the plural rotating members and circulates when the rotating members rotate; a retaining member attached to an attaching portion of the circulating member and that circulates together with the circulating member, the retaining member being configured to retain a recording medium in an area where the attaching portion comes into contact with one of the rotating members; an image forming section that forms an image on the recording medium at an image forming position defined on a circulation path along which the circulating member circulates; a delivering unit that delivers the recording medium to a retaining position where the recording medium is to be retained by the retaining member; a detector that detects rotation of the one rotating member; and a controller that controls delivery of the recording medium from the delivering unit to the retaining position, the delivery being controlled with reference to information detected by the detector.
DETECTION DEVICE AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
A detection device includes a first detection unit that detects a leading edge portion and a trailing edge portion of a medium while the medium is being transported, and a second detection unit that detects both edge portions of the medium in an orthogonal direction that is orthogonal to a transporting direction of the medium while the medium is being transported.
DETECTION DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
A detection device includes a transport passage along which a medium is transported and a detection unit that detects a leading edge portion and a trailing edge portion of the medium in the transport passage while transportation of the medium is stopped and while the medium is pulled in a pulling direction along the transport passage.
Printing apparatus
There is provided a printing apparatus including: a head unit including two first heads and a second head; a support unit arranged to face the head unit and has a support surface; and a sensor arranged between a first virtual line extending in a conveyance direction so as to pass an end of a nozzle group area, of one of the two first heads, defined on a side of other of the two first heads and a second virtual line extending in the conveyance direction so as to pass an end of a nozzle group area, of the other of the two heads, defined on a side of the one of the two first heads, and arranged, in the conveyance direction, upstream of a nozzle group of the second head, the sensor including a projecting member which projects toward the supporting surface with respect to a nozzle surface.
Printing device and control method for printing device
A printing device printing on a medium while being manually moved in relation to the medium is provided. The printing device includes: a movement detection unit detecting an amount of movement of the printing device in relation to the medium; and a control unit causing a print head to print a print image according to the amount of movement of the printing device detected by the movement detection unit, and causing a display to display a display image showing a current printing position in the print image according to the amount of movement of the printing device detected by the movement detection unit.
Printing apparatus and printing control method
In sensor determination processing, each of a transmission-type optical sensor and a reflection-type optical sensor detects a label position, and first transport for transporting the printing medium is executed so that a first label position, which is detected by a first sensor succeeding in detecting the label position first, arrives at a printing position. When the first transport is terminated before a second sensor being another sensor succeeds in detecting a label position during the first transport, a first sensor is determined as a sensor to be used for detecting a label position. When the second sensor succeeds in detecting a label position during the first transport, a sensor succeeding in detecting the first label position or a second label position detected by the second sensor, which is closer to the printing position, is determined as the sensor to be used for detecting a label position.
