The thin film transistor is disposed at the first edge portion of the first and second pixel areas.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUSES FOR DETECTING A MEDIA JAM CONDITION
The disclosed embodiments illustrate a thermal printer apparatus that includes a media sensor. The sensor generates an input signal indicative of a measure of a media transmissivity/reflectivity. Further, the thermal printer includes a processor that is configured to receive the input signal from the sensor, while the media is stationary with respect to a print head. The processor further determines one or more characteristics of the input signal. Thereafter, a first transmissivity/reflectivity threshold is determined based on the one or more characteristics in the input signal. Further, the processor receives the input signal from the sensor, while the media traverses with respect to the print head. Subsequently, the processor determines one or more current characteristics of the input signal while the media traverses with respect to the print head. A media jam condition is detected based on the one or more current characteristics and the first transmissivity/reflectivity threshold.
Food service material dispensers, systems, and methods
Systems for providing on-demand food service material printing for food service are provided herein. A food service material dispenser comprises a roll holder configured to hold a roll of food service material, one or more rollers, and a motor configured to operate to translate the food service material along a path within the dispenser. The dispenser includes a cutting arrangement configured to perform a cut of the food service material to form the sheet of food service material that defines a size associated with a food service order. The dispenser also includes a printer configured to print at least one of order information or personalization information on the food service material that is based on the associated food service order. The dispenser further includes a chute configured to dispense the sheet of food service material, which includes the at least one of order information or personalization information printed thereon.

User input based print tray control
A printing device (102) comprises a plurality of feeder print trays (104) to hold print media to be used for printing. The printing device (102) further comprises a plurality of user input sensors (106), such that a user input sensor (106) is provided in proximity to each of the plurality of feeder print trays (104) to sense at least one user input provided by a user on an outer surface of a casing of the corresponding feeder print tray (104). Further, an input tray control module (108) is communicatively coupled to the plurality of input sensors (106). The input tray control module (108) correlates the user input as selection of the corresponding feeder print tray (104) and subsequently determines selection attributes corresponding to the user input. The input tray control module (108) further determines a tray control action to be initiated for the selected feeder print tray (104) based on the user input data and the selection attribute.
Printing assembly for direct and indirect inkjet printing
An inkjet printing assembly is configured for direct inkjet printing on a recording medium and for indirect inkjet printing via an intermediate medium. The inkjet printing assembly comprises a transport path for transporting a print medium. Further, a control unit is provided for selecting the print medium, wherein the print medium is may at least be a recording medium or an intermediate medium. An inkjet print station is provided and arranged along the transport path for providing droplets of a liquid on the print medium.
