IMPROVEMENTS IN DAMPED HINGE ASSEMBLIES
A damped hinge assembly for mounting a first member for rotational movement relative to a base member about a hinge axis is provided. The assembly includes a first linearly acting damping device, and first camming means for converting rotational movement of the first member in a first direction into linear actuation of the first damping device to cause it to impart a damped resistive force to the first member over at least part of its movement in said first direction. The first damping device is mounted with its linear axis coincident with the hinge axis, with the first damping device acting as a fulcrum for said rotational movement of the first member.

TOILET SEAT ATTACHMENT ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF USE
Two polymeric, cylindrical, and tubular bushings that each have an inner surface defining inner diameter, an outer surface defining an outer diameter, an upper end, a lower end opposing the upper end of the bushing, a bushing length separating the upper and lower ends of the bushing, and a bushing channel defined by the inner surface of the bushing and spanning the bushing length, disposed, respectively, within bowl bores defined by a toilet bowl, and with a threaded screw, coupled to a toilet seat, disposed within the bushing channel and coupled to the inner surface of the bushing, wherein the bushings prevent inadvertent loosening of the toilet seat when attached to the toilet bowl.
Automatic toilet seat and lid assembly
An automatic toilet seat and lid assembly for raising or lowering a toilet lid or a seat includes a base body. A seat and a toilet lid are hingedly coupled to the base body. The automatic toilet seat and lid assembly also includes a proximity sensor provided at the base body. The proximity sensor is configured to detect the presence of a user within a predetermined distance. The automatic toilet seat and lid assembly further includes a microcontroller communicatively coupled to the proximity sensor. Additionally, a motor is communicatively coupled to the microcontroller and a lever is operatively coupled to the motor and the seat and the toilet lid. The proximity sensor detects the presence of the user within the predetermined distance and transmits a signal to the microcontroller. The microcontroller instructs the motor to operate the lever to raise the toilet lid or the seat or both.

COVER DEVICE, TOILET COVER ASSEMBLY AND TOILET
This application discloses a cover device, a toilet cover assembly and a toilet, the cover device including a cover (2), at least one shaft sleeve (2-1, 2-2) provided on one end of the cover (2), the cover device further including at least one helical spring (5-1, 5-2) and at least one damper (4-1, 4-2); an outer end of the at least one helical spring (5-1, 5-2) is fixedly connected to the at least one shaft sleeve, such that the cover (2) applies a compression force to the at least one helical spring (5-1, 5-2) when rotating downward; and a bearing of the at least one damper (4-1, 4-2) penetrates through the center of the at least one helical spring (5-1, 5-2) and is fixedly connected to an inner end of the helical spring (5-1, 5-2), and an outer cylinder part of the at least one damper (4-1, 4-2) is fixedly connected to the at least one shaft sleeve (2-1, 2-2), such that the at least one damper (4-1, 4-2) resists against elastic force release of the at least one helical spring (5-1, 5-2), wherein the rated elastic force of the at least one helical spring (5-1, 5-2) is larger than the gravity of the cover (2). This invention makes the cover rise up automatically and slowly without use of electricity, which not only is simple in structure, but also is safe and saves energy.
