Provided is a toilet ventilation system and a method of ventilating a toilet bowl. In one configuration, the toilet ventilation system includes a raised seat assembly including ventilation tubing secured to the undersurface thereof, the seat being removably securable to a toilet pedestal shelf and positionable on top of a rim of the toilet bowl, with a ventilation system coupled therewith. In another embodiment a short elbow pipe is secured with an end within the bowl area, affixed to a ventilation system. The ventilation system includes a pipe tee having a delivery pipe in fluid communication with a suction pump, such as a wet-dry vacuum. By operating the motor of the suction pump, the suction pump draws odorous air out of the toilet bowl, through the ventilation system, and delivers the same into the outside environment.

Provided is a toilet ventilation system and a method of ventilating a toilet bowl. A toilet seat mounting assembly that includes a hinge mount on an upper surface of a portion of a pedestal, the hinge mount having a body with a bore; an anchor underneath a lower surface of the portion; a fastener extending through the bore and operatively coupled to the anchor to clamp the portion between the hinge mount and the anchor; a hinge base having a mount supported by the upper surface, the mount having an outer wall, which defines an opening that receives the body, and a locking feature flexibly coupled to the outer wall; and a lock cap rotatably coupled to the mount and having a wall. The wall retains the locking feature into a locking engagement with the hinge mount in a locking position of the lock cap, and the mount is removable from the hinge mount in a non-locking position of the lock cap.

A toilet seat mounting assembly that includes a hinge mount on an upper surface of a portion of a pedestal, the hinge mount having a body with a bore; an anchor underneath a lower surface of the portion; a fastener extending through the bore and operatively coupled to the anchor to clamp the portion between the hinge mount and the anchor; a hinge base having a mount supported by the upper surface, the mount having an outer wall, which defines an opening that receives the body, and a locking feature flexibly coupled to the outer wall; and a lock cap rotatably coupled to the mount and having a wall. The wall retains the locking feature into a locking engagement with the hinge mount in a locking position of the lock cap, and the mount is removable from the hinge mount in a non-locking position of the lock cap.

A toilet includes a base, a cover, and a seat. The seat is rotatably coupled to the base, and the cover is rotatably coupled to the seat. The cover and the seat define an angled axis that is oriented upward and forward toward a front end of the base. The cover and the seat are each configured to rotate about the angled axis between a lowered position in which the cover and the seat are located adjacent the base and a stowed position in which the cover and the seat are oriented in an upward direction.

A toilet includes a base, a cover, and a seat. The seat is rotatably coupled to the base, and the cover is rotatably coupled to the seat. The cover and the seat define an angled axis that is oriented upward and forward toward a front end of the base. The cover and the seat are each configured to rotate about the angled axis between a lowered position in which the cover and the seat are located adjacent the base and a stowed position in which the cover and the seat are oriented in an upward direction.

A toilet seat assembly encloses a toilet bowl. The toilet seat assembly includes a toilet seat, a fan, a wick compartment, an atomizer, and at least one baffle. The toilet seat rotatably is connected to the toilet bowl via a hinge. The fan is configured to direct a flow of air into a hinge structure. The wick compartment in the hinge structure includes a sanitizing fluid. The atomizer is configured to spray fine particles of the sanitizing fluid into the flow of air from the fan. The at least one baffle is configured to direct the flow of air including the fine particles of the sanitizing fluid toward a surface of the toilet seat.

A toilet seat assembly encloses a toilet bowl. The toilet seat assembly includes a toilet seat, a fan, a wick compartment, an atomizer, and at least one baffle. The toilet seat rotatably is connected to the toilet bowl via a hinge. The fan is configured to direct a flow of air into a hinge structure. The wick compartment in the hinge structure includes a sanitizing fluid. The atomizer is configured to spray fine particles of the sanitizing fluid into the flow of air from the fan. The at least one baffle is configured to direct the flow of air including the fine particles of the sanitizing fluid toward a surface of the toilet seat.

An rinsing seat for a rimless toilet is disclosed. In one embodiment, the rinsing seat includes a large annular cavity for the purpose of storing and dispensing rinse water. In another embodiment, the rinsing seat includes a smaller annular cavity for the purpose of dispensing rinse water from a pressurized line. Outlet nozzles arranged about the circumference of the rinsing seat and designed to dispense rinse water at varying angles relative to the rinsing seat are disclosed. Rinsing seat supports, hinge assemblies, and seat sensors which offer additional functionality to the rinsing seat are also disclosed and claimed herein.

An rinsing seat for a rimless toilet is disclosed. In one embodiment, the rinsing seat includes a large annular cavity for the purpose of storing and dispensing rinse water. In another embodiment, the rinsing seat includes a smaller annular cavity for the purpose of dispensing rinse water from a pressurized line.
