RECORDING APPARATUS
There is provided a recording apparatus including a liquid jetting unit, a container unit and a receiving unit for a recording medium, a conveyance unit, and a controller. The controller carries out: determining whether or not it is necessary to stop and dry the recording medium in a conveyance path, determining whether or not a first length of the recording medium along the conveyance direction is equal to or larger than a predetermined value, when it is necessary to dry the recording medium, and controlling the conveyance unit to convey the recording medium to a switchback path by reversing the conveyance direction and stop the recording medium in a state of being at least partially within the switchback path, and then to cause the receiving unit to receive the recording medium, when it is determined that the first length is equal to or larger than the predetermined value.
Information processing apparatus, program, information processing method, printing apparatus, and printing system
The present invention provides an information processing apparatus. The apparatus includes a generating unit generating printing data for printing on a printing medium by a printing apparatus, an analyzing unit analyzing a margin amount on a leading edge side of the printing medium based on the printing data, and a transmitting unit transmitting margin information based on an analysis result of the analyzing unit to the printing apparatus prior to transmission of the printing data to the printing apparatus.
Image recording apparatus
An image recording apparatus includes a rotational tray including a supporting surface for supporting a recording medium and a retaining mechanism. The rotational tray is attached to the housing to be rotatable so that an angle between the rotational tray and a side surface of the housing is changeable. The retaining mechanism is able to retain the rotational tray in one of: an open state in which a second discharging slot formed in the side surface of the housing is opened and the recording medium discharged from the second discharging slot is supportable by the supporting surface; a closed state in which the second discharging slot is closed by the supporting surface; and an intermediate state between the open state and the closed state, in which the recording medium discharged from the second discharging slot can be guided in a direction along the supporting surface.
Paper size detection system and method
A paper size detection system includes a paper tray, a width adjuster, a length adjuster, a plurality of sensors, and a signal processor. The paper tray is configured to receive a printing paper and includes a blocking plate. Each of the width adjuster and the length adjuster is movably mounted to the paper tray. The width adjuster, the length adjuster, and the blocking plate cooperatively define a paper placing space with a size substantially equal to a size of the printing paper. The sensors are configured to get a position signal assembly according to positions of the width adjuster and the length adjuster. The signal processor is configured to confirm the size of the paper placing space according the position signal assembly. A paper size detection method is further disclosed.
INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS
An inkjet recording apparatus controls a conveying portion such that a sheet detected by a detector passes through an ink head portion without forming an image and is discharged to a second stack tray, and control the conveying portion such that a subsequent sheet that is fed by a feeding portion and follows the sheet detected by the detector is discharged to a first stack tray without passing through the ink head portion, based on a detection result of the detector.
Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes a plurality of medium containing units that is provided along a vertical direction and contains a medium before recording, a liquid ejecting head that performs recording by ejecting liquid toward the medium, and at least one liquid containing unit that contains the liquid. The plurality of medium containing units includes a first medium containing unit located at an uppermost position, and a second medium containing unit located below the first medium containing unit. A size of the first medium containing unit in a medium feeding-out direction, in which the medium is fed out, is smaller than a size of the second medium containing unit in the medium feeding-out direction, and the at least one liquid containing unit is provided above the second medium containing unit in such a way as to overlap with the first medium containing unit in a vertical direction.
Sheet post-processing device and image forming system
When discharging a sheet onto a discharge tray, a control unit sets position of the discharge tray in an up and down direction to a predetermined discharge position. When loading the sheet onto a processing tray, the control unit sets the position of the discharge tray in the up and down direction to a loading position lower than the discharge position.
Printing to textiles
An example method comprises providing a textile on which a printing fluid is to be deposited at a printing station and supporting the textile by a support member. The support member is to advance the textile through the printing station. The example method comprises increasing a dimension of the support member to increase a dimension of the textile, and advancing the textile toward the printing station by advancing the support member toward the printing station.
Sheet discharge device, and sheet postprocessing device, image forming apparatus, plus image forming system each including the sheet discharge device
The sheet discharge device includes a sheet discharge port, a discharge member, a sheet discharge tray, a support member, a drive mechanism, and a controller. The discharge member conveys sheets in a discharge direction. On the sheet discharge tray, the sheets discharged from the sheet discharge port are to be stacked. The support member is movable by the drive mechanism between a projective position in which the support member is projected to above the sheet discharge tray so as to support the sheets, and a retractive position in which the support member has retracted from the projective position to an upstream side of the sheet discharge port. The controller is enabled to adjust at least one of a projective length of the support member in its projective position and a shift timing from the projective position to the retractive position in response to characteristics of the sheets.
