LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS AND RECORDING SYSTEM
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a transport unit that transports a medium along a transport path, a liquid ejecting head that performs recording on the transported medium by ejecting liquid from a nozzle formed at a nozzle surface, a mounting portion on which a liquid storage portion for storing the liquid supplied to the liquid ejecting head is mounted, and a first discharge port that delivers the medium on which the recording is performed toward a media processing apparatus that performs processing on the medium, in which the mounting portion is disposed at a position higher than the nozzle surface, and a first transport path which is a portion of the transport path from a position corresponding to the liquid ejecting head to the first discharge port passes above the mounting portion.
Printing apparatus and printing method
An object of the present invention is to efficiently perform a reading operation for printing position adjustment with high accuracy. A printing apparatus prints, on a print medium, adjustment patterns for adjusting a printing position on the print medium and corresponding respectively to printing position adjustment items. In this printing, the printing apparatus prints the adjustment patterns while conveying the print medium in a forward direction with a conveying unit. Then, the conveying unit conveys the print medium in a backward direction until the adjustment patterns are moved beyond a reading position of a reading unit in the backward direction. Thereafter, the conveying unit conveys the print medium in the forward direction again to cause the adjustment patterns to reach the reading position. Thereafter, the reading unit reads the adjustment patterns continuously at the reading position while the conveying unit conveys the print medium in the forward direction.
PRINTING DEVICE CONFIGURED TO SEPARATE SHEET INTO FIRST SHEET AND SECOND SHEET, DISCHARGE FIRST SHEET, AND REUSE SECOND SHEET
A printing device includes: a feeding tray on which a sheet can be mounted; a first conveying passage; an image forming unit disposed along the first conveying passage and configured to record an image on the sheet; a cutting unit disposed along the first conveying passage downstream of the image recording unit and configured to cut the sheet; a second conveying passage connected to the first conveying passage; and a controller configured to perform: conveying the sheet mounted on the feeding tray to the image recording unit; recording an image on the sheet by the image recording unit; cutting the recorded sheet at a cutting position on the sheet to divide the sheet into a first sheet on which the image has been recorded and a second sheet on which the image has not been recorded; discharging the first sheet; and conveying the second sheet to the second conveying passage.
CONVEYANCE CONTROL SYSTEM, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTERREADABLE MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER-READABLE INSTRUCTIONS, AND CONVEYANCE CONTROL DEVICE
A conveyance control system is provided with a conveyance mechanism that conveys a platen, a printer provided in the conveyance mechanism and capable of performing printing on a print medium held by the platen received from the conveyance mechanism, and a PC that is communicably connected to the printer and controls the conveyance mechanism. A storage of the PC stores identification information of the printer and identification information of the conveyance mechanism in association with each other. The PC acquires the identification information of the conveyance mechanism associated with the identification information of the printer. A CPU of the PC causes the platen to be conveyed by the conveyance mechanism, on the basis of the acquired identification information.
PRINTER AND CONTROL METHOD OF PRINTER
Included are a printing unit configured to perform printing on a medium (P) being transported, a first nipping roller configured to nip the medium at a first nipping position downstream of the printing unit in a transport direction in which the medium is transported, a second nipping roller configured to nip the medium at a second nipping position upstream of the printing unit, and a control unit. During duplex printing for outputting a printed object being the medium after performing printing on a first surface and a second surface, the control unit causes the printing unit to start printing on the first surface of the medium (P) in a nipped state in which the medium is nipped by the first nipping roller and the second nipping roller, and to start printing on the second surface on the medium in the nipped state after printing on the first surface.
Printing apparatus and printing method
Provided is a technique that enables proper sorting of discharged print media by suppressing curling of each of the print media sufficiently. A determining unit determines a curling suppressing operation to be executed such that in a case where sorting operation is executed, the suppressing operation having a higher effect of suppressing curling is executed than in a case where the sorting operation is executed. Then, a print control unit controls a print head to perform printing on print media while executing the suppressing operation determined by the determining unit.

Recording system, post-processing apparatus, and transport apparatus
A recording system includes: a recording apparatus; a post-processing apparatus; and a transport apparatus which transports the medium to which the recording is performed to the post-processing apparatus, and the transport apparatus includes a transport mechanism which transports a medium to which the recording is performed to the post-processing apparatus, and a loading stand which loads the discharged medium without transporting the medium to which the recording is performed to the post-processing apparatus.
Drive transferring device and liquid ejecting apparatus
A drive transferring unit includes a first roller, a second roller, a first clutch, a second clutch, a transferring section, and a control section. The first roller includes a first shaft section. The second roller includes a second shaft section. The first clutch switches between enabling transfer of a driving force to the first shaft section and interrupting transfer thereof. The second clutch switches between enabling transfer of the driving force to the second shaft section and interrupting transfer thereof. The transferring section transfers the driving force from one of the first roller and the second roller to the other. The control section selects between first control in which the first clutch is in the on state and the second clutch is in the off state and second control in which the second clutch is in the on state and the first clutch is in the off state.
