Printing apparatus, printing system, control method, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
A printing apparatus includes a transfer member configured to cyclically pass through a formation area of an ink image and a transfer area where the ink image is transferred to a cut sheet, the transfer member including a plurality of areas that allow printing on a plurality of cut sheets in one rotation. A control unit controls a print head so as to use some areas of the transfer member for the formation of the ink image, and decides, in accordance with a use count of each of the plurality of areas for printing, an area on which an ink image based on print data is formed so as to use, for printing, an area having a use count that is lowest, among the plurality of areas of the transfer member, more often than other areas of the plurality of areas of the transfer member.
Paper supply apparatus
A paper supply apparatus includes: a primary paper supply roller that feeds out and conveys a print medium from a paper tray on which the print medium is placed; resist rollers that a leading end of the print medium abuts to form a flexure in the print medium by temporarily ceasing conveyance, and rotate at a predetermined timing after this flexure is formed, to convey the print medium toward a conveyance mechanism; and a control unit that executes assist control that drives the primary paper supply roller during the time that the print medium is being conveyed by the resist rollers to assist conveyance of the print medium by the resist rollers. The control unit executes the assist control such that the flexure in the print medium remains at a point in time at which the leading end of the print medium reaches the conveyance mechanism.

RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a recording head that performs recording on a medium, a transport belt that has an clinging surface that cling the medium, and transports the medium to a position facing the recording head, a first charging unit that is in contact with the transport belt to frictionally charge the clinging surface, and a second charging unit that applies a voltage to the transport belt to charge the clinging surface, in which a control unit, which switches between charging of the clinging surface by the first charging unit and charging of the clinging surface by the second charging unit, switches between the charging of the clinging surface by the first charging unit and the charging of the clinging surface by the second charging unit, according to a state of a surface of the medium, which is in contact with the clinging surface.
FEEDING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A feeding device includes a supply unit that supplies air between plural stacked media and that floats the media, a feeding unit that makes the media floated by the supply unit stick thereto and that feeds the media, a separating unit that supplies the air obliquely downward to a front surface side of a second medium positioned immediately below a first medium stuck to the feeding unit from a downstream side to an upstream side in a medium feeding direction and that separates the second medium from the first medium, and a blasting unit that blasts the air obliquely downward to the front surface side of the second medium from the downstream side to the upstream side in the medium feeding direction and that has a blasting angle of the air with respect to the medium feeding direction larger than a supply angle of the air of the separating unit.

Printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a printing section that performs printing on a medium containing calcium carbonate, a transport section that rotationally drives a transport belt that forms at least a portion of a transport path in which the medium is transported, a voltage supply section that supplies a charging voltage to a charging roller for charging the transport belt, a detection section that detects whether or not charging abnormality has occurred in the transport belt, a determination section that determines whether a cause of the charging abnormality is abnormality of the voltage supply section or abnormality of the transport belt, and a machine learning section that performs machine learning of a determination condition in the determination section, based on a learning model in which a rotation amount of the transport belt and a detection result of the detection section are associated with each other.
