PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes: a printing section; a print conveyor conveying a medium in the printing section; a constant-speed conveyor conveying the medium at a variable constant conveying speed in a circulation route for duplex printing; a registration roller pair against which the medium to be conveyed to the printing section is caused to abut; and a processor determining a conveyance schedule for the medium based on at least one of a first conveyance route length between a downstream end portion in a conveying direction of the print conveyor and an upstream end portion in the conveying direction of the constant-speed conveyor and a second conveyance route length between a downstream end portion in the conveying direction of the constant-speed conveyor and the registration roller pair, and a medium length in the conveying direction of the medium.
Printing substrate transport device and printing machine
A transport device for transporting printing substrates includes a conveyor belt that is supported on its inner side by revolving profiles. Each profile has grooves, at least one of which has a first bore and a second bore. A vacuum is applied to the first bore and the second bore is in air-conducting connection with a longitudinal groove in a slide so that suction air flows out of the longitudinal groove, through the at least one groove and into the first bore. A printing machine is also provided.
Printing apparatus and method of controlling printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a first discharge path that discharges a sheet and a second discharge path different from the first discharge path. An angle difference between a direction in which the sheet is discharged in the second discharge path and a conveyance direction of a conveyance roller is less than an angle difference between a direction in which the sheet is discharged in the first discharge path and the conveyance direction of the conveyance roller. The printing apparatus includes a control unit that discharges the sheet on which the image is printed using the second discharge path even in a case where an instruction to print an image indicates discharging the sheet to the first discharge path, if the sheet conveyed by the conveyance roller is a sheet having a thickness equal to or greater than a predetermined value.

Inkjet Printer for Decorating Cloth
An inkjet printer (500) for printing on cloth (300) comprising a first vacuum belt (150) for conveying an unwoven fabric (200) which is, configured as a second vacuum belt, for conveying under an inkjet print head (505) a cloth (300); and a device for applying pressure to said cloth (300) on said second vacuum belt; wherein said device comprises a portion for traversing said cloth (300) with a rub by a relative movement between said pressure device and said second vacuum belt, carrying said cloth (300).
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a holding body that holds a formed image; a transport unit that transports a recording medium in a state where a tip of the recording medium is grasped by a grasping portion; a transfer cylinder that has a substantially circular cross section, and that includes a concave portion that accommodates the grasping portion in a direction substantially orthogonal to a rotation direction and transfers an image on the holding body to the recording medium transported by the transport unit by interposing the recording medium transported by the transport unit between the transfer cylinder and the holding body; and an imparting portion that imparts a transport load to the recording medium that is transported to a transfer position at which the image on the holding body is transferred to the recording medium.

DRIVE TRANSMISSION DEVICE, MEDIUM TRANSPORT DEVICE, AND RECORDING DEVICE
A drive transmission device includes a plurality of pulleys including three or more pulleys, and an endless belt stretched over the plurality of pulleys and in which a plurality of linear belt sections each formed between two of the pulleys are formed, wherein a first flange is provided on a first pulley which is the pulley that forms a longest belt section and does not form a shortest belt section among the plurality of belt sections, and a gap between the first flange and a side surface of the endless belt is smaller than a gap between a flange provided on another pulley and the side surface of the endless belt.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes plural rotating members that are rotatable; an annular circulating member that is wound around the plural rotating members and circulates when the rotating members rotate; a retaining member attached to an attaching portion of the circulating member and that circulates together with the circulating member, the retaining member being configured to retain a recording medium in an area where the attaching portion comes into contact with one of the rotating members; an image forming section that forms an image on the recording medium at an image forming position defined on a circulation path along which the circulating member circulates; a delivering unit that delivers the recording medium to a retaining position where the recording medium is to be retained by the retaining member; a detector that detects rotation of the one rotating member; and a controller that controls delivery of the recording medium from the delivering unit to the retaining position, the delivery being controlled with reference to information detected by the detector.
