PRINTER
At a printer that feeds a continuous paper unwound from a paper sheet supply unit in a sheet-shape to a printing head portion side via a damper portion, and then prints on a label of the continuous paper, in conjunction with an opening and closing operation of the printing head portion of the printing unit, the damper portion opens and closes in a vertical direction.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND PRINTING METHOD
There is provided a printing apparatus including: a driving roller which drives a recording medium in a predetermined direction by rotation thereof; a supporting member which supports the recording medium further on the downstream side in the predetermined direction than the driving roller; a discharge head which is provided to oppose the supporting member and discharges liquid to the recording medium supported by the supporting member; a tension control portion which adjusts tension of the recording medium supported by the supporting member by controlling tension of the recording medium based on a result of detecting tension of the recording medium further on the downstream side in the predetermined direction than the driving roller; and a first destaticizing portion which destaticizes the recording medium further on the upstream side in the predetermined direction than the driving roller.

Tensioning mechanism for a textile feed to a stepped operation digital textile printer
A textile feed for a stepped operation digital textile printer, comprises a textile feeding mechanism, and a tension storage mechanism. The textile feeding mechanism feeds the textile in a forward direction onto the printer, but is at the same time mechanically connected to a tension storage mechanism which is tensioned by the forward feeding. At the end of the feed step, the tension storage mechanism releases respectively stored tension to cause the feed mechanism to briefly reverse feed, thereby to pull the textile taut and take up any slack caused by the feeding step. The textile is thus kept taut, to allow effective digital printing by the printer.

Medium processing apparatus, loading apparatus and medium loading method
A medium processing apparatus includes a printer, a supporting member having a sheet-like shape and configured to support a discharged medium, and a winding unit configured to wind the supporting member and move with respect to the printer. The winding unit has a first case and a second case that rotatably support a winding shaft, and a placement portion placed at a flat surface. The first case and the second case in a state where axis lines of respective bearing portions that support the winding shaft are aligned with each other and in a state of being held so as to be mutually non-rotatable in a plane orthogonal to an axis line of the winding shaft, and when the winding unit is installed on a flat surface, the placement portion contacts the flat surface.
Liquid discharge device and image forming device
A liquid discharge device determines, in a state of a liquid discharger discharging liquid onto a continuous form sheet conveyed by a conveyor at a first conveying speed, in response to a seam of the continuous form sheet detected by a seam detection sensor, whether a heater temperature detected by a temperature detection sensor is a threshold or higher; causes, in response to the heater temperature being determined to be the threshold or higher, the conveyor to stop conveying the continuous form sheet, until the heater temperature decreases to be less than the threshold; and causes, in response to the heater temperature having decreased to be less than the threshold, the conveyor to convey the continuous form sheet at a second conveying speed slower than the first conveying speed until the seam of the continuous form sheet is wound up around a winding roller.
