There is provided a bobbin for a thermal transfer sheet or an image-receiving sheet which can reduce the number of parts and can have a smooth surface. The bobbin includes a cylindrical bobbin body 11. A gear 12 including a number of teeth 13 is formed in one end surface of the bobbin body 11. The teeth 13 of the gear 12 each have the shape of a trapezoid when viewed from the side. One lateral side 13b of the trapezoid extends in the axial direction of the bobbin body 11.

A conveyor includes: a first power transmitting mechanism configured to transmit one of forward rotation and reverse rotation of a motor to a first roller and not to transmit the other from a driven member to the first roller; and a second power transmitting mechanism configured to transmit the other rotation to the first roller and not to transmit the one rotation to the first roller. The first power transmitting mechanism includes a transmission delayer that does not transmit rotation of the motor from the driven member to the first roller until the motor is rotated by a particular amount from a time point at which the motor starts to be rotated in a rotational direction of the one rotation when rotation transmitted from the motor to the driven member is changed from the other rotation to the one rotation.

A conveyor includes: a first power transmitting mechanism configured to transmit one of forward rotation and reverse rotation of a motor to a first roller and not to transmit the other from a driven member to the first roller; and a second power transmitting mechanism configured to transmit the other rotation to the first roller and not to transmit the one rotation to the first roller. The first power transmitting mechanism includes a transmission delayer that does not transmit rotation of the motor from the driven member to the first roller until the motor is rotated by a particular amount from a time point at which the motor starts to be rotated in a rotational direction of the one rotation when rotation transmitted from the motor to the driven member is changed from the other rotation to the one rotation.
Sheet feeding apparatus
A sheet feeding apparatus includes a first sheet storage portion and a second sheet storage portion disposed side by side with the first sheet storage portion. The sheet feeding device includes a sheet bundle moving member configured to transfer sheets in the second sheet storage portion to the first sheet storage portion and a pickup roller configured to feed the sheet by abutting against the sheet stored in the first sheet storage portion. When transferring the sheet bundle in the second sheet storage portion to the first sheet storage portion, the pickup roller is rotated in the same direction as that during feeding.

A thermal transfer printer includes a label feeding roller driving unit, a ribbon roll-up driving unit, a ribbon feeding roller, a ribbon feeding roller driving unit, and a controller. The ribbon feeding roller has an adhesive layer on its surface and is rotated to feed the ink ribbon while holding the ink ribbon on the adhesive layer.

A printing apparatus includes a belt mover for an endless belt that transports a recording medium, a feed amount calculator that calculates an amount of feed of the belt mover, a movement amount detection sensor as a movement amount measurer that measures actual amount of movement of the endless belt by image processing, a compensation table storer that stores a compensation table for compensating a transport error of the endless belt, and a control portion that calculates the amount of feed that is to bring about a predetermined amount of movement of the endless belt by using the feed amount calculator and by referring to the compensation table storer, moves the endless belt by using the belt mover on the basis of the amount of feed, compares the actual amount of movement of the endless belt measured by the movement amount detection sensor and the predetermined amount of movement.

A printing apparatus includes a belt mover for an endless belt that transports a recording medium, a feed amount calculator that calculates an amount of feed of the belt mover, a movement amount detection sensor as a movement amount measurer that measures actual amount of movement of the endless belt by image processing, a compensation table storer that stores a compensation table for compensating a transport error of the endless belt, and a control portion that calculates the amount of feed that is to bring about a predetermined amount of movement of the endless belt by using the feed amount calculator and by referring to the compensation table storer, moves the endless belt by using the belt mover on the basis of the amount of feed, compares the actual amount of movement of the endless belt measured by the movement amount detection sensor and the predetermined amount of movement.
Ink ribbon cassette, ink ribbon cartridge, printing device and control method for printing device
An ink ribbon cartridge may include a supply roll; a winding roll; and a power transmission mechanism to transmit power from a drive source to the supply roll and the winding roll. A direction in which an ink ribbon is wound by the winding roll is a ribbon winding direction and a direction in which the ink ribbon is wound by the supply roll is a ribbon rewinding direction. The power transmission mechanism may include a winding side one-way clutch to transmit a driving force in the ribbon winding direction to the winding roll and cut off transmission of the driving force in the ribbon rewinding direction to the winding roll; and a supply side one-way clutch to transmit the driving force in the ribbon rewinding direction to the supply roll and cuts off transmission of the driving force in the ribbon winding direction to the supply roll.

Provided is a medicine packaging device. The medicine packaging device includes: a reader-writer that reads information from an IC tag installed at a supply core of an ink ribbon roll detachably installed to an ink ribbon cassette as well as writes information to the IC tag; a motor control unit that controls a winding motor for rotating a winding core, based on a used length of the ink ribbon which is information read from the IC tag, so that the ink ribbon of the ink ribbon roll runs in a winding direction at a higher speed than a feeding speed of a continuous sheet for packaging; and a written information output unit that outputs information showing the used length of the ink ribbon which has been changed due to use of the ink ribbon, to the reader/writer as information written on the IC tag.
