Printing apparatus
There is provided a printing apparatus including: a base; a thermal head; a first motor; a second motor; a head holding member holding the thermal head; a first pivoting member and a second pivoting member pivotally supported by the base; a guide rail extending in a second direction and connected to a first end of the first pivoting member on a first side in a first direction and to a second end of the second pivoting member on the first side in the first direction; a head pressing member which is in contact with the guide rail to be slidable in the second direction and facing the thermal head from a first side in a third direction; and a movement mechanism configured to move the head holding member in the second direction through driving of the second motor.
Printer Having Conduit Grip and Method of Gripping Conduit
A printer, comprising a moveable carriage having at least one print head mounted thereon; and at least one flexible conduit connected at a first end to the carriage. An intermediate portion of the conduit is supported in a guide allowing the conduit to follow reciprocating movement of the carriage across a print zone of the printer. A retainer is moveable between first and second positions. In the first position the retainer permits the conduit to follow the movement of the carriage. In the second position the retainer is arranged to grip the conduit at a location between the intermediate portion and the first end.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a printing head, a controller, an FFC, and a support section. The printing head discharges liquid onto a medium while moving in a primary scan direction so as to print an image on the medium. The controller controls a discharge state of the liquid from the printing head. The FFC electrically connects the printing head and the controller together so as to enable transmission of control signals, and includes a flat portion. The support section supports the flat portion of the flexible flat cable. A portion of the support section that contacts the flat portion is shorter than a width of the flexible flat cable in an orthogonal direction orthogonal to the primary scan direction.
Printing apparatus
There is provided a printing apparatus, including: a base; a thermal head including heating elements arranged in a first direction; a head holding member disposed to be slidable on the base in a second direction intersecting with the first direction and a third direction intersecting with the first direction and the second direction; a rolling member; a first pivoting member; a second pivoting member; a first guide rail extending in the second direction; a first sliding member held by the first guide rail to be slidable on the base in the second direction and having a contact surface which is in contact with the rolling member from a first side in the third direction; a first movement mechanism configured to pivotally move the first pivoting member and the second pivoting member; and a second movement mechanism configured to move the head holding member in the second direction.
LIQUID DISCHARGING APPARATUS
A liquid discharging apparatus includes a print head that discharges a liquid, a carriage that is mounted on the print head, a control signal generation circuit, a drive signal generation circuit, a first cable through which a drive signal generation control signal is transmitted to the drive signal generation circuit, a second cable through which a drive signal is transmitted to the print head, a control circuit substrate on which the control signal generation circuit is provided, and a drive circuit substrate on which the drive signal generation circuit is provided. The shortest distance between the control circuit substrate and the carriage is longer than the shortest distance between the drive circuit substrate and the carriage. The drive circuit substrate is provided at a position where a region in which the carriage moves and at least a part of the drive circuit substrate overlap each other.
Printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes: a printhead; a carriage, on which the printhead is mounted; a first containing unit configured to contain ink to be supplied to the printhead; and a channel forming unit which forms an ink supply channel for supplying ink to the printhead. The channel forming unit includes: a first tube which extends in a reciprocation direction of the carriage; a second tube which is connected to the first containing unit; and a first coupling member which couples the first tube and the second tube to each other. The first coupling member is located in one end portion of the printing apparatus in the reciprocation direction, and has a bent channel which connects the first tube and the second tube to each other.
LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a carriage that includes a liquid ejecting head, a liquid storing container that is capable of storing the liquid and that is provided at a different location from the carriage, a tube that supplies the liquid sent from the liquid storing container, and a guide section that is located at a lower side of the carriage in a vertical direction. When one of the moving directions of the carriage is a first direction and another one of the moving directions of the carriage is a second direction, the tube extends in the second direction along the guide section, and is connected to the carriage. The guide section includes a first site and a second site that is lower in the vertical direction than the first site.
APPARATUS FOR FLEXIBLE FLAT CABLE
Examples of an apparatus for flexible flat cable, installable within a print device, are described, The flexible flat cable may be connected to a print carriage assembly of the print device.
Inkjet printer having transmission antenna connected to control board provided in casing and reception antenna provided in carriage
An inkjet printer includes: a casing; a first control board; a carriage; a head; a transmission antenna; and a reception antenna. The first control board is configured to reciprocate in a scanning direction crossing a conveying direction of a recording medium. The head is mounted in the carriage and has a plurality of nozzles. The transmission antenna is connected to the first control board. The transmission antenna is configured to transmit, through near field communication, an ejection signal for controlling ejection of ink from the plurality of nozzles. The reception antenna is provided in the carriage. The reception antenna is configured to receive the ejection signal from the transmission antenna. The near field communication has a communication range smaller than a size of the casing.
SUPPLY MANIFOLD TRIGGER ARMS
In some examples, the disclosure describes device that includes a moveable carriage, a supply manifold releasably coupled to the moveable carriage utilizing a locking mechanism, and a trigger arm coupled to the supply manifold to move the supply manifold a distance away from the moveable carriage while the locking mechanism is in an unlocked position.
