Image forming apparatus and method of controlling image forming apparatus with amplifier gain control
An image forming apparatus includes: a transceiver circuit configured to transmit a signal. A carriage having a recording head is movable relative to the transceiver circuit. A counter counts how many times the carriage moves. An amplifier circuit mounted on the carriage receives the signal from the transceiver circuit through a cable and amplifies the received signal. A carriage controller changes a gain of the amplifier circuit, based on a count value of the counter.

Liquid discharge apparatus
A liquid discharge apparatus includes a liquid discharge head configured to discharge a liquid, a carriage configured to movably hold the liquid discharge head, an attachment part displaceably attached to the carriage, and a holder connected to the attachment part. The holder holds at least one of a cable and a tube connected to the liquid discharge head.
TIMING BELT TENSIONER FOR 3D PRINTER AND 3D PRINTER
Various embodiments provide a timing belt tensioner for a 3D printer and the 3D printer. In those embodiments, the timing belt tensioner includes: a mounting frame, an idler and an elastic member, where the idler is connected to the mounting frame, and a timing belt of the 3D printer is wound around the idler, and is configured to drive a movement mechanism of the 3D printer to move on an XY plane; and the elastic member is configured to connect the mounting frame and a base of the 3D printer such that the mounting frame drives the idler to slide to a balance position relative to the base under an elastic force of the elastic member. When at the balance position, a balance is reached between the elastic force of the elastic member and a tensile force of the timing belt acting on the idler.
Liquid discharging apparatus and driving circuit
A liquid discharging apparatus includes a head unit having a liquid discharging head that has a driving element, a position detection circuit that outputs a position information signal indicative of a position of the liquid discharging head, a first circuit that controls drive of the driving element based on a first signal, and a first conversion circuit that converts a first optical signal into the first signal; and a driving circuit having a second circuit that outputs a second signal, a second conversion circuit that converts the second signal into the first optical signal, a first cable, and a second cable, in which the first cable connects the first conversion circuit to the second conversion circuit, and propagates the first optical signal, and the second cable electrically couples the position detection circuit to the second circuit, and propagates the position information signal.
MOVEMENT MECHANISM AND PRINTING APPARATUS
A movement mechanism for a movable body including a motor including a rotation shaft, a supporting member that supports the motor, an attachment member fixed to a base body portion and to which the supporting member is attached, a driving pulley coupled to the rotation shaft, a driven pulley attached to the base body portion, an endless belt stretched between the driving pulley and the driven pulley, and the movable body attached to the endless belt, in which the supporting member is configured to be pivotally movable about a position serving as a pivotal axis such that a distance between the driving pulley and the driven pulley shortens, the position being at a side of the driven pulley from the driving pulley in a stretching direction in which the endless belt is stretched between the driving pulley and the driven pulley.
Liquid discharging apparatus and driving circuit
In a liquid discharging apparatus, a head unit includes a driving element, a first circuit that controls drive of the driving element based on a first signal including a first data signal and a second data signal, and a first conversion circuit that converts a first optical signal into the first data signal, and converts a second optical signal into the second data signal, a driving circuit includes a second circuit that outputs a second signal including a third data signal and a fourth data signal, a second conversion circuit that converts the third data signal into the first optical signal, and converts the fourth data signal into the second optical signal, a first cable, and a second cable, the first cable propagates the first optical signal during a first period, and the second cable propagates the second optical signal during a second period.
