The plurality of pallets for arranging a medium that receives fluid during operation. The system further includes an application assembly for applying fluid and energy to a medium arranged on the plurality of pallets and a conveyance arrangement comprising first and second conveyors for transferring the one or more pallets through the fluid application system. The first and second conveyors have a dedicated trolley selectively coupled to one of the plurality of pallets during movement along a first direction of the path of travel and selectively decoupled from the one of the plurality of pallets during movement along a second direction of the path of travel.
Printing Device Capable of Realizing Combined Jet Printing
The invention relates to the field of printing and dyeing and discloses a printing device capable of realizing combined jet printing including a cross beam, inkjet devices and a power device, wherein at least two inkjet devices are provided and installed on the cross beam as well as can be driven by the power device to move relative to the cross beam, the inkjet devices can move relative to the cross beam in a separate manner and can implement the inkjet action separately. According to the invention, the jet printing of ground color and pattern can be realized in the equipment by arranging at least two inkjet devices capable of moving in a separate manner in one cross beam, which is conducive to reducing the enterprise cost; meanwhile, transfer links of a medium among different equipments are avoided to improve the production efficiency.
Printing system servicing
A printing system includes a print bar, a plurality of printheads installed on the print bar and an auxiliary printhead moveable parallel to the print bar. A number of first nozzles of the auxiliary printhead substitute for a number of second nozzles of the printheads during a nozzle servicing operation performed on the second nozzles.
INKJET APPARATUS AND METHOD OF ALIGNING THE SAME
An inkjet apparatus includes a head pack including sub-head packs, at least one inkjet head coupled to each of the sub-head packs, a head pack aligner coupled to each of the sub-head packs, and including a first motor which moves each of the sub-head packs in a first rotation direction, a second motor which is disposed on the first motor and moves each of the sub-head packs in a first direction which is a longitudinal direction of each of the sub-head packs in a plan view, and a controller which controls a moving position of each of the sub-head packs and a head aligner coupled to the inkjet head and including a first adjusting member which moves the inkjet head in a second rotation direction and a second adjusting member which moves the inkjet head in a second direction which is a longitudinal direction of each of the inkjet head.
Compliant printhead locating apparatus for a print module
A single pass inkjet printer that utilizes a modular printing system with one or more self-contained printing modules, where each printing module is easy to remove and replace from a large printing machine, thus resulting in an overall system that is easy to service and maintain Each module is a self-contained printer including an ink supply, printhead drive electronics, and printhead assembly in order to provide one color or fluid of inkjet printing capability. Each module includes a precise three-point compliant self-aligning mount system to obtain accurate printhead positioning, and a unique integrated printhead tending system that includes a compact movable vacuum knife for cleaning the printheads, and a printhead capping station for sealing and protecting the printheads from the ambient environment when not in use.
Moving device, moving method and printing apparatus
Both end parts of a cord are fixed to a maintenance mounting frame, and an intermediate part of the cord is laid on a first body-side rotating member, a head-side rotating member and a second body-side rotating member. Here, when a motor is driven, the movement restriction of the cord is released and a movement of a head mounting frame is restricted, whereby only the maintenance mounting frame moves together with a maintenance part while the movement of the head mounting frame is restricted. Further, when the motor is driven, a movement of the cord is restricted and the movement restriction of the head mounting frame is released, whereby only the head mounting frame moves together with a discharge head while a movement of the maintenance part is restricted.
Image forming apparatus and head unit positioning method
An image forming apparatus includes a conveyance part, a head unit, a distance changing part, three blocks and three pins. The distance changing part moves the head unit between a printing position where a printing operation is performed and a retreat position separated away from the conveyance part farther than the printing position. The three blocks are provided in one of the conveyance part and the head unit at intervals in the conveyance direction and a width direction crossing the conveyance direction. The three pins are provided in the other of the conveyance part and the head unit at positions facing the three blocks. Each of the three blocks has a positioning groove having a pair of inclined surfaces. The pins come into two-point contact with the inclined surfaces of the blocks in a state where the head unit is positioned in the printing position.
DEVICE INCLUDING MOVABLE HEAD AND HEAD CONTROL METHOD
A device includes a head to perform an operation on a conveyed object; a head moving device to move the head in a width direction orthogonal to a conveyance direction of the conveyed object; a position detector to detect a position of the conveyed object in the width direction; a speed detector to detect a moving speed of the conveyed object in the width direction; a position predictor to obtain a predicted width position of the conveyed object after a predetermined period, based on a detected position of the conveyed object and a detected moving speed of the conveyed object; a speed calculator to calculate a travel speed of the head; and a head travel controller to control the head moving device to move the head at the calculated travel speed. With the calculated travel speed, the head arrives at the predicted width position after the predetermined period.
PRINTING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRINTING ON A WORKPIECE
A printing device is provided for printing on a workpiece, which preferably comprises at least partially wood, wood fiber containing materials, wood composite materials, veneer, plastic, or a combination thereof. The printing device can include a housing, a holding element arranged on the housing, a print head attached to a first side of the housing, and a first interface. The first interface can communicatively and operatively connect the print head to containers for print media. Further, the printing device can be portable.
Elastic Bending Mechanism for Bi-Directional Adjustment of Print Head Position
Mechanisms for adjusting the position of one or more print heads at an extremely fine resolution (e.g., less than 10 μm) are described herein. The adjustment mechanisms include a differential screw and an indexing wheel through which the differential screw extends. One threaded segment of the differential screw is connected to a threaded feature of a flexible body that is coupled to the print head(s), while another threaded segment of the differential screw is connected to a threaded feature of a rigid body that is coupled to a printer assembly. As the indexing wheel and differential screw rotate, the space between the flexible body and the rigid body changes based on the difference between the pitches of the threaded segments. The adjustment mechanisms described herein utilize the accurate, consistent motion of the flexible body upon experiencing pressure to effect predictable changes in the position of the print head(s).
