RECORDING APPARATUS AND RECORDING METHOD
In a recording apparatus that forms dots based on an interlace system, a movement amount when a recording unit is moved in a first direction, between one relative movement of the recording unit to a recording medium in a second direction and the next relative movement, is set to a regular amount Δy=HL (HL is the length of a recording head in the first direction)−OL (OL is the width of an overlap amount in the first direction)±PL (PL is the width of one pixel of printing resolution of a print image to be recorded by the recording unit in the first direction).
Inkjet system for printing a printed circuit board
A printing process for printing an ink pattern on a substrate is provided. The ink pattern to be printed is based on an available pattern layout. The pattern layout defines a desired layout of the ink pattern to be printed. Based on the pattern layout an input image for allocating dot positions of the ink pattern is generated. The printing process includes a step of comparing a scan image with the input image to carry out a quality inspection to detect any print defects in the printed ink pattern. The printing process includes a step of providing a decision on an approval or a rejection of the printed ink pattern. In case of an approval, the substrate can be supplied to a subsequent processing station to finalize the substrate. In case of a rejection, the substrate including print defects can be recycled.
Methods for printing a curved surface of an object by using an inkjet head
A method for printing at least one section of a flat or preferably curved surface of an object includes using a relative movement between an inkjet head and the object to move the inkjet head along a first path and print a first track in the process and to move the inkjet head along a second path and print a second track in the process. A first track edge of the first track and a second track edge of the second track meet at a point and enclose an angle between about 1° and about 179° at the point. The method permits the curved surface to be printed without perceptible track connections.
Print head mechanism
A print head assembly for a media processing device comprises: a print head including an interface and a latch receiver on an upper surface of the print head; and a print head carrier including: (i) a base plate having an opening to receive the latch receiver therethrough when the print head is positioned at a lower surface of the base plate; (ii) an adapter to engage with the interface of the print head; and (iii) a latch bar on an upper surface of the base plate, the latch bar slideable between a first position to engage with the latch receiver and lock the print head to the base plate, and a second position to disengage from the latch receiver and release the print head from the base plate.
Inkjet recording device
Provided is an attachment member that prevents the misalignment of a plurality of recording heads caused by rotation in attaching the recording heads to a head module which constitutes a head unit of an inkjet recording device.
PRINT HEAD FRICTION DETECTION SYSTEM
A system for detecting friction between an object, that is being printed in a printer, and a print head moving relative to the object, comprising: an acoustic sensor system arranged to detect an acoustic noise signal generated by the printer; a recording system arranged to record the noise signal while the print head moves relative to the object; and an electronic processing system arranged to detect, in the recorded noise signal, correlated with the reciprocating movement of the printhead over the printed object, a signature that is characteristic of an event of friction between the print head and the object.
ADJUSTMENT TOOL
An adjustment tool for adjustment operations on a machine has at least one mechanical adjustment member. The tool comprises a body, a tool head and a drive member. The tool head is mounted on the body and is adapted to be detachably coupled to the adjustment member. Further, the tool head is displaceable relative to the body. The drive member is configured for driving the tool head and the adjustment member coupled thereto. The adjustment tool further comprises a displacement limiter arranged to limit an amount of displacement which the drive member can impart on the tool head to a set value.
TABLET PRINTING APPARATUS AND TABLET PRINTING METHOD
According to one embodiment, a tablet printing apparatus includes: a conveyer configured to convey a tablet along a line; an applicator head including a plurality of nozzles arranged in a direction crossing the conveyance direction of the tablet conveyed by the conveyer, configured to perform printing on the tablet by ejecting a liquid from the nozzles; and a controller configured to control the ejection of the liquid from the nozzles of the applicator head. The length of an array of the nozzles in a direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction is equal to or longer than the length of the tablet in the direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction. The controller is further configured to control switching of a nozzle used for printing on the tablet among the nozzles by a plurality of sections determined in advance.
Imprint apparatus, imprint method, and article manufacturing method
An imprint apparatus performs processing including dispensing of a resin onto an imprint region on a substrate and molding of the dispensed resin using a mold. The imprint apparatus includes a dispenser including a discharge section having an array of ports for discharging the resin, and configured to dispense the resin onto the imprint region; and a controller configured to control the dispenser, during a processing for a plurality of imprint regions of which nominal sizes are the same, such that switching is performed from one subset of the array of ports used for dispensing the resin onto one imprint region to another subset of the array of ports for dispensing the resin onto another imprint region.
Inkjet recording apparatus
An inkjet recording apparatus includes a plurality of line heads disposed along a conveyance direction of a recording sheet and including a plurality of nozzles to discharge ink droplets, the plurality of nozzles disposed in a direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction of the recording sheet; a plurality of edge sensors corresponding to respective line heads, to detect a lateral edge of the recording sheet; a plurality of actuators corresponding to the respective line heads, to move to the respective line heads laterally in a sheet width direction; a head position adjustor to determine movement amounts of the respective line heads in accordance with outputs of the plurality of edge sensors; and a failure determiner to obtain outputs of the plurality of edge sensors simultaneously and identify a failure of the plurality of edge sensors based on a combination of the outputs from the plurality of edge sensors.
