Recording-head position adjustment mechanism, recording-head module, and image forming apparatus
A recording-head position adjustment mechanism adjusts a position of a recording head. The recording-head position adjustment mechanism includes a first support, a second support, and an adjuster. The first support supports a first end of the recording head in a longitudinal direction of the recording head. The second support supports a second end of the recording head in the longitudinal direction. The adjuster moves the second support with respect to the first support in a transverse direction intersecting the longitudinal direction to adjust an inclination of the recording head.
DISCHARGE CONTROL APPARATUS, LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
A discharge control apparatus includes a storage control unit, and a correction value update unit. The storage control unit is configured to store, in a storage unit, a correction value for correcting a value related to discharge performed by a liquid discharge unit configured to discharge liquid to a discharge target, in association with a type of the discharge target. The correction value update unit is configured to update, via the storage control unit, the correction value stored in the storage unit, based on input received by an input receiving unit configured to receive the input from a user. The correction value update unit is configured to perform update with as identical correction value for a plurality of different types of discharge targets.
Inkjet recording apparatus
There is provided an inkjet recording apparatus including: a plurality of ink ejectors each having a nozzle array in which two or more nozzles each of which ejects ink are one-dimensionally arranged; a support member to which the plurality of ink ejectors are attached at positions different from one another in a predetermined arrangement direction in a state where the nozzle array is oriented in the arrangement direction; and a support member deformer that deforms the support member in a direction in which a deflection of the support member is reduced.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS, INSPECTION METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A liquid discharge apparatus includes a plurality of liquid dischargers and circuitry. The plurality of liquid dischargers is configured to discharge liquids of a plurality of colors from discharge holes to form an inspection image on a recording medium. The circuitry is configured to detect a failure of the discharge holes, based on the inspection image formed on the recording medium with the liquids of the plurality of colors. The inspection image includes linear images of the plurality of colors extending in a first direction and arrayed in a second direction intersecting the first direction. Linear images of at least two colors, of the linear images of the plurality of colors, are positioned to overlap each other in the first direction.
PRINTING APPARATUS, READING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Provided are a printing apparatus, a reading method, and a program capable of stably acquiring a high-quality read image. Provided are a printing section (102) that performs printing on a transparent base material to generate a printed matter; a reading section (40) that is disposed on one surface side of the base material and reads reflected light or transmitted light; an illumination section (122) including a reflective illumination part (122) that is disposed on the one surface side of the base material and irradiates the base material with illumination light and a transmissive illumination part (124) that is disposed on the other surface side of the base material and irradiates the base material with illumination light; an inspection information acquisition section (120) that acquires inspection information on an inspection performed on the printed matter; and an illumination control section (120) that selectively controls at least one of the reflective illumination part or the transmissive illumination part on the basis of the inspection information.
Printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a transport unit for a printing medium, a head configured to discharge ultraviolet-curable ink, an ultraviolet light irradiation unit disposed downstream of the head, a suction unit provided between the head and the ultraviolet light irradiation unit, and a gap reducing portion disposed in a gap between the head and the suction unit and configured to at least partially close the gap by a first region being in contact with the suction unit and a second region, located upstream of the first region, being in contact with the head. In response to the suction unit suctioning mist while the head discharges ink onto the printing medium to be transported, air flow traveling in a direction opposite to the transport direction is generated in a region where the ultraviolet light irradiation unit and the printing medium oppose each other.
PRINTING PRESS
A printing press includes at least one printing unit having at least one nozzle bar with at least two print heads and at least one cleaning device. Each nozzle bar is assigned at least one cleaning device. The at least one cleaning device includes at least one cleaning element. The at least one cleaning element is arranged to be movable in, and counter to a cleaning direction. The at least one cleaning element has at least one fluid infeed opening and at least one fluid discharge and at least one fluid extraction device.
Conveying apparatus and image forming apparatus
A conveying apparatus for conveying a conveyance object in a conveying direction is provided. The conveying apparatus includes a detecting unit configured to detect positions of a plurality of portions in an orthogonal direction of the conveyance object during the conveyance of the conveyance object, the orthogonal direction being orthogonal to the conveying direction; and a determining unit configured to make a determination as to whether the conveyance object has been subjected to expansion or contraction in the orthogonal direction, based on detection results of the positions of the plurality of portions.
PHOTO-CURABLE INK JET INK SET AND INK JET RECORDING METHOD USING THE SAME
A photo-curable ink jet ink set includes an undercoating photo-curable ink jet ink containing a (meth)acrylic acid ester having a vinyl ether group expressed by general formula (I), and an overcoating photo-curable ink jet ink. The undercoating photo-curable ink jet ink has a higher surface tension than the overcoating photo-curable ink jet ink.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INKJET PRINTING ON FLEXIBLE WEBS
