An integrated inkjet module includes: a print module positioned between end brackets, the print module having an elongate printhead; a wiper carriage configured for longitudinally wiping the printhead; and a print module carrier supporting the print module. The print module carrier is slidably mounted between the end brackets for lifting relative to a media feed path. The wiper carriage, in a parked position, is positioned between one end of the print module and an end bracket, and the print module carrier includes a mounting arm bridging over the wiper carriage in the parked position.

PRINTING APPARATUS

An example printing apparatus is illustrated. The printing apparatus includes a print engine assembly. The print engine assembly further includes a bottom chassis portion. The print engine assembly also includes a top chassis portion. The print engine assembly also includes a print head positioned within the top chassis portion. The print engine assembly also includes a plurality of offset pins coupled to the print head, where the plurality of offset pins abuts the bottom chassis portion, and where the plurality of offset pins enables the print head to be positioned at a predetermined distance from the bottom chassis portion.

ALIGNMENT FEATURES OF ALIGNMENT COVERS

In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, an alignment cover for a fluidic ejection device is described. The alignment cover includes a substrate to affix to the fluidic ejection device. At least one alignment feature is disposed on the substrate and mates with corresponding guide features on an alignment post of a carriage. The at least one alignment feature removably couples the fluidic ejection device to the carriage. The alignment cover also includes at least one engagement feature disposed on the substrate. The at least one engagement feature interfaces with the alignment post to reduce relative motion of the fluidic ejection device relative to the carriage.

Printhead die assembly

A method may include positioning first and second printhead die within a die carrier, using a registration pin of the die carrier to align the first and second printhead die and fixing the position of the first and second printhead die within the die carrier.

The compact thermal printing mechanism according to the invention is applicable for handheld payment terminals. The invention provides a printer chassis (1) with reinforced flat area (20) by at least one reinforcing element comprising a fold of the printer chassis (1). This folded portion of the printer chassis strengthens the chassis and provides a very strong resistance to bending forces of the lateral pressure means (18) of the platen roller (6). The stable and uniform pressure distribution across the paper width ensures uniform print quality.
