A printing device includes a printing head, a housing, a cover, and a guide channel. The housing accommodates therein the printing head. The housing includes a bottom wall formed with a communication hole through which liquid that has entered the housing is to be discharged to an outside of the housing. The cover covers the communication hole in the bottom wall. The guide channel is positioned between the bottom wall and the cover and extends along the bottom wall. The guide channel is in communication with the communication hole and is configured to guide the liquid discharged through the communication hole toward an outside of the printing device.

A recording apparatus includes a recording head, a conveyance unit, a housing, and first and second heating units. The recording head performs recording in a recording region by discharging liquid onto a recording medium conveyed in a first direction by the conveyance unit. The housing has an opening in a side surface of the housing. The first heating unit is arranged upstream of the recording head in the first direction in the housing, includes a first heater and a first fan, and blows air in the recording region. The second heating unit is arranged downstream of the recording head in the first direction outside the housing, includes a second heater and a second fan, and blows warm air to the recording medium. The second fan suctions air from an air suction unit that faces the recording medium and is arranged below the side surface opening in a gravitational direction.

A recording apparatus includes a recording head, a conveyance unit, a housing, and first and second heating units. The recording head performs recording in a recording region by discharging liquid onto a recording medium conveyed in a first direction by the conveyance unit. The housing has an opening in a side surface of the housing. The first heating unit is arranged upstream of the recording head in the first direction in the housing, includes a first heater and a first fan, and blows air in the recording region. A liquid ejection head including a detachable protection member, includes: a rail portion extending along a first direction; a rail opening formed in the rail portion; and a fixing opening fixing the protection member, in which the protection member includes a protection portion covering an ejection surface of the liquid ejection head, an engagement portion that has a shorter length in the first direction than that of the rail opening, and a fixing portion that is engaged with the fixing opening and that fixes the liquid ejection head and the protection member, the rail portion includes a contact portion at one end in the first direction with which the engagement portion is put in contact, and the other end on an opposite side of the one end in the first direction is connected with the rail opening while the liquid ejection head and the protection member are fixed.

A liquid ejection head including a detachable protection member, includes: a rail portion extending along a first direction; a rail opening formed in the rail portion; and a fixing opening fixing the protection member, in which the protection member includes a protection portion covering an ejection surface of the liquid ejection head, an engagement portion that has a shorter length in the first direction than that of the rail opening, and a fixing portion that is engaged with the fixing opening and that fixes the liquid ejection head and the protection member, the rail portion includes a contact portion at one end in the first direction with which the engagement portion is put in contact, and the other end on an opposite side of the one end in the first direction is connected with the rail opening while the liquid ejection head and the protection member are fixed.

A printing apparatus includes: a printing part having an installment part in which a cartridge usable for printing an image is installable, the printing part being configured to print the image on a print medium and configured to move to an exchange position in a scanning direction; and a processing unit having a processing part configured to move while making contact with the print medium, which has the image printed thereon by the printing part, to thereby perform a processing of the print medium, at least a part of the processing unit being positioned at a standby position which is shifted in the scanning direction with respect to the exchange position in a case that the cartridge is installed or detached with respect to the printing part.

A printing apparatus includes: a printing part having an installment part in which a cartridge usable for printing an image is installable, the printing part being configured to print the image on a print medium and configured to move to an exchange position in a scanning direction; and a processing unit having a processing part configured to move while making contact with the print medium, which has the image printed thereon by the printing part, to thereby perform a processing of the print medium, at least a part of the processing unit being positioned at a standby position which is shifted in the scanning direction with respect to the exchange position in a case that the cartridge is installed or detached with respect to the printing part.

A recording device includes: a medium support section that supports a medium before feeding in an inclined posture; a feed roller that feeds the medium from the medium support section; a recording section that performs recording on the medium fed by the feed roller; a frame positioned between the medium support section and the recording section; and a board on which an electronic component is mounted. A first frame surface of the frame faces the feed roller, and a second frame surface opposite to the first frame surface faces the recording section. The board is provided such that a first side faces a first frame surface of the frame and a second side opposite to the first side is farther away from the frame than the first side.
