Foreign material removing device and printing apparatus
A cleaning roller to be brought into contact with a medium includes a rotary shaft having a first end portion and a second end portion, and a sticky roller attached to the rotary shaft. A cleaning roller holder includes a first bearing portion configured to restrict a movement range of the first end portion and a second bearing portion configured to restrict a movement range of the second end portion. In a state where the first end portion is disposed at the first bearing portion and the second end portion is disposed at the second bearing portion, the cleaning roller holder positions the cleaning roller in a detachable manner. The center of gravity of the cleaning roller is shifted from the center of the cleaning roller in the longitudinal direction toward the first end portion, and is in a range where the sticky roller exists in the longitudinal direction.

Liquid ejecting device
A supporting section is disposed to confront an ejection surface and supports a recording medium. A first tank is mounted on a first-tank mount section. A liquid conveying section conveys liquid to a liquid ejecting head. A receiving section receives liquid ejected from the liquid ejecting head. A waste-liquid conveying section conveys liquid to the waste-liquid tank. A first casing holds the liquid ejecting head, the first-tank mount section, and the liquid conveying section. A second casing holds the supporting section, the receiving section, the waste-liquid tank, and the waste-liquid conveying section. The first casing is connected with the second casing such that the first casing is movable relative to the second casing. The first casing takes a first position at which the ejection surface confronts the supporting section and a second position at which the ejection surface is farther away from the supporting section than at the first position.
INKJET RECORDING DEVICE
An inkjet recording device includes a conveying unit that conveys a paper sheet by use of an endless conveyor belt, a recording unit that includes a recording head disposed to face a carrying surface of the conveyor belt so as to eject ink through ink ejection nozzles of the recording head to the paper shed being conveyed by the conveyor belt, a sucking roller that, on an upstream side of the recording unit in a sheet conveying direction, makes contact with the paper sheet being conveyed and rotates in that state, and a sucking device. The sucking roller is columnar in outer shape and has many air sucking holes formed in a side surface thereof so that air in a vicinity of the sucking roller is sucked through the air sucking holes by the sucking device.

Recording device and method for reversely transporting recording medium
A recording device includes an endless transporting belt that transports a recording medium in a normal transport direction and a reverse transport direction, a recording head, a cleaning liquid attaching unit that attaches a cleaning liquid to a front surface of the transporting belt, a first blade that comes into contact with the front surface to remove the cleaning liquid attached to the front surface, and a blade moving unit that moves the first blade in approaching and separating directions with respect to the front surface. The blade moving unit causes the first blade to come into contact with the front surface when the transporting belt is rotating in a reverse rotation direction, and causes the first blade to be separated from the front surface when the transporting belt is rotating in a normal rotation direction.
