An exemplary glass cleaning device including a handle having a distal portion and a proximal portion, the proximal portion pivotally coupled to the distal portion so that the proximal portion can pivot between an extended position and a folded position, a spray head having a nozzle in fluid communication with a fluid reservoir, the fluid reservoir being disposed with the proximal portion of the handle and the nozzle being coupled to the distal portion of the handle, a button to activate the nozzle, the button being disposed on the proximal portion of the handle, and a plate coupled to the spray head.

Universal connecting members

Connecting members for the attachment of implements and handles are provided. The connecting member includes two inter-related flexure members that allow the selective locking and unlocking of the connecting member from an implement. The two flexure members are configured to work in combination so that each flexure member can contribute to a combined optimal biasing force. The combination of the two flexure members allows for the reduction of stress on each flexure member thereby resisting permanent deformation.

The improved double-sided convex mirror cleaning tool disclosed herein may comprise, at least, a fixed, concave cleaning blade and a handle. Such a device contemplates the use of resilient and flexible materials for the cleaning blade suitable for use in cleaning windows, and resilient and solid materials suitable for structural rigidity in the device main body. The combination is unique in that the cleaning blade is a concave blade meant to contour most effectively with convex mirrors commonly found on tractor-trailer combinations. The device may further comprise a second, straight cleaning blade for use in the cleaning of planar mirrors, or may instead comprise a variety of attachments suitable for providing additional functionality to the device.

Tool with articulated handle

The tool has a folded position and an unfolded position. It will generally include a head assembly and an articulated handle. The handle can also be used alone. The handle, or the tool with such handle, occupies only a very compact space once in a fully folded position. It may thus be easily carried and stored when not in use. It can be folded and unfolded with only a minimal manipulative effort and level of difficulty. The main constituent parts cannot become detached and this unitary design alleviates the risks of parts being misplaced or lost.

The present disclosure provides a cleaning device for cleaning surfaces, typically planar surfaces. The cleaning device includes two functioning elements, a mopping element for allowing mopping the surface with a mop and a wiper element for wiping the surface, typically wiping a portion of the surface that have been mopped by the mop of the mopping element to complete the cleaning process. The cleaning device is designed that one of the elements is further formed with a head unit that is configured to receive an end of a handle, e.g. a rod and the other element is capable of rotating about an axis to allow efficient cleaning process by the device at different portions of the surface in different distances from the subject using the device. Typically, the head unit is formed on the wiper element, the mopping element is capable of rotating about a central axis thereof and the two elements are integrally coupled to one another, e.g. by gluing intended coupling portions of the two elements to one another.

SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS

The present invention is concerned with a surface cleaning apparatus. The apparatus has substantially elongate and laterally extending head portion and a handle portion defining a longitudinal axis generally perpendicular to the head portion. The head portion includes opposite lateral ends, a first housing defining a first chamber and a rim forming an opening via which water from a surface to be cleaned enters the first chamber, a squeegee connected to the rim for directing the water via the opening to the first chamber, and guide means for guiding the water from the squeegee to the first chamber for initial containment, thus minimizing the water from dripping away from the apparatus in use, and the handle portion includes a second housing forming the handle portion and defining a second chamber for receiving and containing the water from the first chamber for subsequent containment.
