Medicine packaging device, ink ribbon running control method, ink ribbon roll and ink ribbon cassette
Provided is a medicine packaging device. The medicine packaging device includes: a reader-writer that reads information from an IC tag installed at a supply core of an ink ribbon roll detachably installed to an ink ribbon cassette as well as writes information to the IC tag; a motor control unit that controls a winding motor for rotating a winding core, based on a used length of the ink ribbon which is information read from the IC tag, so that the ink ribbon of the ink ribbon roll runs in a winding direction at a higher speed than a feeding speed of a continuous sheet for packaging; and a written information output unit that outputs information showing the used length of the ink ribbon which has been changed due to use of the ink ribbon, to the reader/writer as information written on the IC tag.
Long sheet material holding device and printer
In order to obtain a ribbon feeding shaft capable of accurately adjusting a position of a regulating member and preventing a positional deviation, a long sheet material holding device includes a pair of first locking groove trains (91c and 91d) arranged in parallel with each other along the axial direction of the holding shaft (91), the pair of first locking groove trains (91c and 91d) having a series of grooves (61c and 61d) respectively, the series of grooves (61c and 61d) extending across the axial direction of the holding shaft (91), each of the series of grooves (61c and 61d) being provided with slope surfaces (71c, 71d) sloped along the axial direction of the holding shaft (91) and oppositely to each other and perpendicular surfaces (81c, 81d) perpendicular to the axial direction of the holding shaft (91), and a pair of second locking groove trains (92c, 92d) formed in a pair of locking members (92x, 92y) provided in the regulating member 92 inserted into the holding shaft (91), to match the surfaces of the pair of first locking groove trains (91c and 91d).

Tape cassette
A tape cassette includes a housing and a tape. An indicator aperture is formed on a front surface of the housing. An arm portion of the housing is defined by a section of the front surface and a first wall. An opening extends through the housing in a first direction perpendicular to a top or bottom surface of the housing. The opening is defined by the first wall, a second wall and a connection portion. The connection portion connects upstream ends of the first wall and the second wall in a feed direction. A first surface is provided in the connection portion. The first surface is disposed between the top surface and the bottom surface in the first direction. The housing has a first indentation extending from the bottom surface to the first surface. The first surface is parallel to the top surface or the bottom surface.

Tape cassette
A tape cassette that includes a housing having a front wall and a tape feed exit located on the front wall, a tape at least partially included within the housing and configured to be fed along a tape feed path extending to the tape feed exit, and tape type indicator apertures formed on the front wall of the housing. A combination of the tape type indicator apertures forms a pattern corresponding to a type of the tape at least partially included within the housing. The tape type indicator apertures include a first tape type indicator aperture and a second tape type indicator aperture, and the tape type indicator apertures are positioned such that the first tape type indicator aperture is not aligned with the second tape type indicator aperture in a direction orthogonal to the tape feed path and parallel to the front wall.

TAPE CASSETTE
A tape cassette that includes a housing having a front wall and a tape feed exit located on the front wall, a tape included at least partially within the housing, and a pressing portion and a first non-pressing portion on the front wall. The pressing portion and the first non-pressing portion are positioned to oppose tape type detecting switches of the label printer when the cassette is in the label printer. The pressing portion is configured to change a state of an opposing one of the tape type detecting switches, and the first non-pressing portion is configured to avoid changing a state of an opposing one of the tape type detecting switches. The first non-pressing portion is a planar area of the front wall extending in a tape width direction from a top surface of the housing to a bottom surface of the housing.
