According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a plurality of functions may be performed with a single device, to maximize work efficiency in time and space, and reduce costs.
Print control device, non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing print control program, and printed matter production method
There is provided a print control device that causes a printing device to perform printing, the print control device including: a specifying section that specifies a print target from a captured image captured by an image capturing sensor; a display section that displays, on a display, a screen in which a trimmed image is superimposed on the captured image, the trimmed image being obtained by trimming a preview image of original print data in accordance with the print target; a setting receiving section that receives a setting of a relative position of the preview image with respect to the print target; a print instruction receiving section that receives a print instruction at the relative position; and a control section that causes the printing device to perform printing on the print target based on the original print data and the relative position according to the print instruction.
System and method for measuring image on paper registration using customer source images
A system and method are provided for registering source and target images. The method includes receiving a first source image and a first scanned image. The first scanned image is one that has been generated by scanning a printed page that has been generated by printing the first source image or a transformed first source image derived from the first source image. Locations of corners of a target image in the first scanned image are identified. With a first computed transform, the corners of the target image in the first scanned image are aligned to corners of the first source image to generate an aligned target image. Local features in the source image and aligned target image are detected. A second transform is computed to align the target image with the first source image, based on the detected local features.
PRINTING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A printing apparatus acquires characteristic information about a recording medium and executes a light quantity adjustment in a reading operation using a reading unit based on the acquired characteristic information. By using the above-described configuration, it is possible to prevent an increase in the number of processes for analyzing read data obtained by reading a test pattern.
Machine and method for multi-pass digital printing on glass sheets with minimised print travel
Machine and method for multi-pass digital printing of plate glass with minimization of print travel. The machine is configured to recognize the longest dimension of the motif to be printed in the X and Y directions and to execute the multiple print passes by moving the bridge in the X direction or by moving the carriage along the bridge in the Y direction.
PRINTING SYSTEM
According to one embodiment, a control unit of a printing system determines a printing region on an object to be printed being conveyed by a conveyance machine, the printing region being provided to be printed any write information therein as printing information, determines whether or not the printing information having a specified character size can be printed in the printing region, and performs adjustment of a printing format of the printing information, the adjustment including at least changing the character size, so that the printing information can be printed in the printing region when determining that the printing information cannot be printed in the printing region. A printing unit prints the printing information having the adjusted printing format in the printing region of the object to be printed according to a timing at which the printing region of the object to be printed being conveyed by the conveyance machine passes through the printing unit.
LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes an ejecting head and a camera unit for acquiring a state of the ejecting head, in which the camera unit includes a camera for imaging an object, a housing in which the camera is housed and which includes an opening on an imaging path that couples the camera and the object, and an opening/closing member, the opening/closing member includes a reference chart serving as a reference for adjustment of the camera and a chart cover, in a first mode, the opening/closing member brings the opening into a closed state, and the chart cover covers the reference chart, in a second mode, the opening/closing member brings the opening into an open state, and the chart cover covers the reference chart, and in a third mode, the opening/closing member brings the opening into the closed state, and the chart cover does not cover the reference chart.
Conveying device, image forming apparatus incorporating the conveying device, position detecting method of the image forming apparatus, and recording medium
A conveying device includes a sensor to read a sheet to be conveyed, a first conveyor arranged on an upstream side from the sensor in a sheet conveying direction of the sheet, a second conveyor arranged on a downstream side from the sensor in the sheet conveying direction, and correcting circuitry to correct a distance of the sheet having an error detected when the sensor reads the sheet conveyed by the first conveyor and the second conveyor, to an actual distance. The correcting circuitry uses at least a first correction value correcting a distance read by the sensor when the first conveyor conveys the sheet and a second correction value correcting a distance read by the sensor when the second conveyor conveys the sheet.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, RECORDING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus includes a type reception unit, a notification unit, a mode reception unit, and a determination unit. The mode reception unit receives a mode selected from among a plurality of modes for determining a determined type of recording medium for use in a recording apparatus, wherein the information processing apparatus is configured to perform operations including determining, in a designation mode, a selected type of recording medium indicated by information received by the type reception unit, and determining, in an automatic determination mode, an automatically determined type of recording medium for use in the recording apparatus without receiving input user information indicating the recording medium type. In response to the determination unit determining that the mode is able to be changed from the designation mode to the automatic determination mode, the notification unit issues a prompting notification to prompt a user to change the mode.
