An embodiment of the system for transporting and collecting waste includes a movable receptacle configured to translocate from a first position to a second position and back again, and a vacuum system associated with the movable receptacle. The vacuum system includes a motor for generating suction and a power source connector associated with the motor. The power source connector is associated with the power source and transmits power to the motor when the movable receptacle is in the first position, and the power source connector dissociates with the power source, thereby interrupting power to the motor, when the movable receptacle moves away from the first position. The power source connector includes a connection terminus and a semi-flexible stem that flexes to allow a proper alignment between the connection terminus and the power source when the movable receptacle translocates from the second position to the first position.

Dust and allergen control for surface cleaning apparatus

A cyclone bin assembly for a surface cleaning apparatus has a flexible closure member that is moveable to a deployed position wherein a first portion of the closure member is provided on the cyclone bin assembly and a second portion of the closure member closes the upper end of a refuse container, whereby when the closure member is in the deployed position, a closed volume is provided which includes an interior volume of the refuse container and an openable door of a dirt collection region of the cyclone bin assembly is located in the closed volume.

TAB CLEANING APPARATUS

A tab cleaning apparatus is provided. The tab cleaning apparatus includes: cleaning assemblies, where the cleaning assembly is provided with an air channel inside, and the air channel is provided with an air inlet and an air outlet; and a suction assembly, where the suction assembly is connected to the cleaning assembly, the suction assembly is connected to the air outlet, the suction assembly operates to make air enter the cleaning assembly from the air inlet so as to form a negative pressure zone on the side of the air inlet, and a tab is placed in the negative pressure zone so as to clean the tab. The tab cleaning apparatus of this application can remove metal filings and other impurity particles at tabs, thereby improving the cleanliness of cells, reducing the self-discharge failure rate of cells, and improving the safety of cells.

Storage system with partition means and methods

A storage system is described where goods are stored in containers and the containers are stored in stacks. Above the stacks runs a grid network of tracks on which load handling devices run. The load handling devices take containers from the stacks and deposit then at alternative locations in the stacks or deposit then at stations where goods may be picked out. The framework may be provided with one or more of the following services: power, power control, heating, lighting, cooling, sensing, and data logging. A method of partitioning the storage system prevents the spread of fire or prevent damage caused by sprinkler activation.
