SLIDE OUT VACUUM DRUM INCLUDING DUAL-ACTION LATCHING MECHANISM
20180168413 · 2018-06-21 ·

A vacuum cleaning system includes a housing defining an inlet and an outlet, a motor connected to the housing and configured to generate air flow through the housing from the inlet to the outlet, and a debris container received within the housing in a first direction. The debris container includes a knob that is rotatable about an axis and includes a first cam and a second cam. Rotation of the knob about the axis causes the first cam to engage the housing and thereby move the debris container in the first direction, and causes the second cam to engage the housing and thereby move the debris container in a second direction.

Car cleaner

The car cleaner includes a collecting part having a collecting space to collect dust or foreign substances; a suction/discharge pipe of which one side is coupled with the collecting part to be in communication therewith, and which has a suction and spray nozzle configured to transfer the dust or the foreign substances in the car to the collecting part; a vacuum suction unit having a sucking part connected with the collecting part and a discharging part configured to discharge sucked air; an external air suction switching unit installed between the collecting part and the sucking part of the vacuum suction unit so that air in the collecting part or external air is selectively sucked into the sucking part; and a suction/discharge switching unit provided so that air discharged through the discharging part is discharged through the suction/discharge pipe.

VEHICLE INTERIOR CLEANING APPARATUS

A cleaning apparatus for use by hand and/or with a robotic device expels fluid, air or liquid, from a perimeter of an open end of a housing of the cleaning apparatus. Simultaneously, a vacuum device is suctioning debris through the housing and into a vacuum port. The simultaneous use of suction and expelled fluid through a single apparatus generates turbulent airflow and effectively loosens and removes debris attached to surfaces without the need for the housing to contact the surfaces.

Systems and methods for promoting cleanliness of a vehicle

Methods and systems are provided for cleaning systems of a vehicle. In one embodiment, a system includes: a floor mat; a vacuum system integrated with the floor mat, the vacuum system comprising a port, one or more ducts, and one or more openings integrated with the floor mat; and a control module that selectively activates suction of the vacuum system based on a detection of a level of uncleanliness of the vehicle.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROMOTING CLEANLINESS OF A VEHICLE

Methods and systems are provided for automatically maintaining cleanliness of an vehicle. In one embodiment, a method includes: receiving, by a processor, at least one sensor signal from a sensor that monitors for particulates within an interior of a vehicle; determining, by the processor, a level of uncleanliness of the vehicle based on the sensor signal; and selectively generating, by the processor, at least one of a control signal to a cleaning element of the vehicle and a notification message based on the determining to achieve the level of cleanliness.

A vehicle washing assembly for washing, drying, and vacuuming a vehicle includes a housing having a base wall, a peripheral wall that is attached to and extends upwardly from the base wall, and a top wall that is attached to the peripheral wall opposite the base wall. The peripheral wall bounds an interior area. A pressure washer unit is mounted to the housing and configured to expel a fluid under pressure in a selected direction. A blower unit is mounted to the housing and configured to suction air inwardly through an inlet and to blow air outwardly through an outlet. Both the inlet and the outlet are mounted to the housing. A catch is in fluid communication with the inlet for capturing debris suctioned in through the inlet. A power supply is attached to the housing and is electrically coupled to the pressure washer unit and the blower unit.

INTEGRATED VACUUM FOR MOTOR VEHICLE

An on-board central vacuum system for a vehicle is provided. The on-board central vacuum system includes a vacuum motor assembly, a vacuum hose fluidly connected to a vacuum nozzle handle and interior trim. The interior trim has an armrest portion and includes a handle pocket that defines an opening. The handle pocket defines a cavity that projects below an outermost surface of the interior trim and nestingly accepts the vacuum nozzle handle in a recessed and stowed position relative to the outermost surface.

DUST COLLECTOR FOR VEHICLE

The disclosed vacuum cleaner system for an automobile fits in a cavity in the vehicle and has a tank that can be removed in a lateral direction without tools and without detaching the vacuum hose. The motor/fan assembly is positioned above a chassis wall. Lateral flanges on opposed sides of the tank support the tank in generally horizontal sliding motion from a forward position to an elevated rearward position. A rear flange supports the tank as it pivots to a mounted position in which an inlet on a removable lid on the tank communicates with a hose, and an outlet on the lid communicates with the motor/fan assembly. In a removed position, the inlet and outlet are disconnected.
