The present invention provides a label with a prize offer having excellent concealment of a prize display and also provides a method enabling accurate and inexpensive production of the label. A label having a prize offer, wherein, using a center impression-type flexographic printing machine, a design layer, a prize offer display layer, and an underlayer are formed lying one over another by printing on a rear surface side of a translucent film, an opaque display base portion having high light-blocking properties is provided on the design layer, rear overprinting is performed on the prize offer display layer, while a transparent prize display is also provided to lie over the display base portion, or is not provided, back-rear printing is performed in the same color as the rear overprinting on the underlayer, and a transparent display window portion is provided to be aligned with the display base portion.

Method for printing on hollow bodies
10661590 · 2020-05-26 · ·

A method is provided for printing on hollow bodies in which the hollow bodies are printed on in a decorator having a rotating segment wheel. Printing ink provided by multiple different plate cylinders and inking units are each collected on printing blankets arranged one after another on the circumference of the segment wheel. The plate cylinders and inking units involved in the printing are arranged and set in such a way that, when printing on the hollow body, an iris print is, or at least can be implemented.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PRINTED PRODUCT

A method produces a printed product. The method includes transferring a first Fluid onto at least one section of printing stock, applying a second fluid, having a dewetting effect on the first fluid, onto a form configured as a relief printing form or embossing form, and transferring the second fluid to at least some points of the section. In this manner printed products of high quality can be produced.

Offset printing utilizing image movement

A substrate is printed with front side and back side markings in a first color ink. The front side when viewed with reflected light includes a first marking printed in a first saturation and a first symbol printed in the first saturation. The back side when viewed with reflected light includes: a second marking printed in a second saturation; a second symbol printed in the second saturation; a third marking printed in the first saturation; and a third symbol printed in the first saturation. The first marking, the second marking, and the third marking are printed to provide an interlocking pattern of low saturation color and high saturation color when viewed with transmitted light. The second symbol is visible, and the first symbol and the second symbol are not distinguishably visible, when viewed with transmitted light.

INSTANT TICKET REDUNDANCY VIA MULTI-CHROMATIC INDICIA

A redundantly printed security-enhanced document, printing method and system ensure the meaning of the information imparted by variable indicia printed by redundant printing on the document with removable scratch-off coatings. By printing the variable indicia with multiple colors, redundancy and integrity of the intended indicia is achieved. Additionally, inverted color indicia countermeasures to pinprick attacks are also disclosed. The redundantly printed document, methods and systems enhance the overall appearance of the redundantly printed document, and reduce possible consequences resulting from misprinted variable indicia. The resultant printed process color indicia maintains a grayscale equivalent level of a process color greater than or equal to the measured grayscale equivalent level of the substrate surface plus an additional contrast delta of 15%.

Method for decorating substrates and decorated substrate

A method for decorating substrates, in particular packaging, comprising the steps: printing at least one first decorative pattern (2) on the substrate using a first radiation-curable, preferably UV-curable, printing ink composition (3); printing at least one second decorative pattern (4), using a second radiation-curable, preferably UV-curable, printing ink composition (5), on at least part of the substrate (1) in a region near to the first pattern (2), chronologically before, after, or during the printing of the first pattern; radiation curing of the first and second printing ink compositions (3, 5), preferably directly after the printing of each pattern, the radiation-cured second printing ink composition having a lower glass transition temperature than the radiation-cured first printing ink composition; application of a decorative coating to the second pattern by means of a hot foil stamping process, a hot stamping foil comprising a decorative coating material being pressed against the printed substrate by means of a stamping tool under the application of heat and pressure such that the decorative coating adheres to the second pattern but not to the first pattern.
