Method and device for producing partially embossed blanks
A method for producing partially embossed blanks is disclosed. The method is to provide a continuous web of an embossable material, and guide it between two cylinders which emboss its surface. The embossed web is fed to a stamping device to punch blanks from the web. One of the embossing cylinders has a marking which is readable by a first sensor. The first sensor reads the position of the marking and produces a signal which triggers a printing device to produce a print mark on the web identifying the position of the embossing. The print mark is read by a second sensor which produces a signal for controlling and adjusting a feeding distance by which feed rolls supply the web to the stamping device that punches blanks from the web in register with the partial embossing of the blank. A device for conducting the method is also disclosed.

Method and system of self-adaption adjustment for post-printing treatment
A method of self-adaption adjustment for post-printing treatment including steps of S1: printing a plurality of identifiers on a paper sheet for positioning actual locations of treatment on the paper sheet; S2: detecting the identifiers on the paper sheet, and locating the actual locations to be treated according to the locations of the identifiers and/or relative locations among the identifiers; and S3: adjusting locations of treatment from a post-printing treatment mechanism to the paper sheet according to the actual locations output in step S2. A system of self-adaption adjustment for post-printing treatment including a printing module, a detection module, a treatment module, a driving module and a post-printing treatment mechanism. The method and system realize the self-adaption adjustment, which effectively solves the problems that an actual value after skewing or stretching or shrinking the actual printing content is inconsistent with a theoretical value of typesetting, thus effectively improving the production efficiency and production quality, which has favorable economic and social benefits. The method and system can be widely applied in various post-printing treatment systems.

FORMATION OF A CREASE AND AN IMAGE ON MEDIA
A method of forming an image and a crease on media by an image forming system includes forming a crease formation pattern on an impression media received by an impression member. The method also includes forming the image on an image forming blanket of an intermediate transfer member by a print unit. The method also includes pressing the media against the impression member by the image forming blanket to transfer the image onto the media and to establish contact with the crease formation pattern to form the corresponding crease on the media.

EMBOSSED PRINT MEDIA
The present disclosure is drawn to embossed print media including a media substrate having a front side and a back side, an embossed image-receiving layer formed on the front side of the media substrate at a coating weight of 3 gsm to 50 gsm, and a fabric liner coupled to the back side of media substrate via an adhesive layer. The embossed image-receiving layer can include a first pigment filler and a first polymeric binder. The adhesive layer can be applied at a coating weight from 20 gsm to 40 gsm and can include a second polymeric binder and a flame-retarding filler.
