Secure substrate for scratch-off products
In one embodiment, a secure substrate provides a print-ready surface for printing scratch-off products and eliminates the need to print lower security layers for protecting against attempts to view hidden indicia information. In one embodiment, a secure substrate comprises applying microperforations to a dyed substrate that meets a predefined transmission optical density to resist an attempt to reduce the opacity of the dyed substrate by delamination. In another embodiment, a secure substrate comprises applying a lower opacity layer and a lower background layer on a substrate to provide a secure substrate that meets a predefined transmission optical density. In another embodiment, a secure substrate comprises applying a lower opacity layer on a substrate, applying a reflective coating, and applying a lower background layer over the reflective coating to provide a secure substrate that meets a predefined transmission optical density.
Method and apparatus for creating an image on a fabric
A method for creating an image on a fabric includes providing a stretch fabric; stretching the stretched fabric; creating an image on the stretch fabric while the stretch fabric is in a stretched position by imparting a first color to create the image and imparting a second color as a background color, thereby imparting color to inner fibers of the stretch fabric; allowing the stretch fabric to relax; imparting color to only surface fibers of the stretch fabric while the stretch fabric is in the relaxed state; and stretching the stretch fabric to reveal the image, the image created by stretching the stretch fabric such that the inner fibers are visible.
SCRATCH-OFF COATINGS COMPATIBLE WITH DIGITAL IMAGING
A security-enhanced document with a removable SOC is provided that is compatible with process color digital imaging, method and system for producing the document enhances production, and expands the aesthetics of the documents.
Automatic Drawing System and Method of Operating Automatic Drawing System
An object of the present invention is to provide an automatic drawing system capable of drawing a figure having a smooth and clear contour, in which a control apparatus, based on figure data of a planned drawing figure, by operation of a cartesian coordinate robot, moves a paint discharging apparatus parallel to a contour line of the planned drawing figure to be drawn at a planned drawing location, and along with this movement, the control apparatus executes contour parallel drawing control that causes the paint discharging apparatus to continuously perform a paint discharging operation, thereby drawing a contour portion of the planned drawing figure.
SCRATCH-OFF STRUCTURE PRODUCTION
In one example of the disclosure, a substantially transparent substrate is provided at a printer. A primer layer is applied upon a first surface of the substrate. A security ink layer that includes security information is applied upon the primer layer. An opaque background ink layer is applied upon the security ink layer. A corona treatment is applied to a second surface, located on an opposite side of the substrate relative to the first surface. A release ink layer is applied upon the corona-treated second surface. An opaque cover image ink layer is applied upon the release ink layer.
Label film featuring hidden pattern revealable through scraping surface and manufacturing method thereof
Disclosed are a label film including a hidden pattern that is displayable through scraping a surface thereof and a manufacturing method thereof. A concealment scraping layer printing ink is formed by mixing, in respect of volume ratio, 1-10% nitrocellulose, 5-15% polyamide resin, 20-30% silver paste, 5-15% pearl powder, 10-20% ethyl acetate, 20-30% toluene, and 5-15% isopropyl alcohol and applied with intaglio printing such that a displayable mark formed of a traditional printing ink and including at least one pattern, character, or mark and at least one concealment scraping layer pattern formed with the concealment scraping layer printing ink are combined together and collectively formed on and attached to at least one surface of a single-layer label film substrate, with the concealment scraping layer pattern set on and covering at least one displayable mark, followed by steps of slitting, bonding, and cutting, to form a label film having at least one concealment scraping layer pattern covering and concealing at least one displayable mark through a combined printing operation.
Textile product having latent image that slowly appears following repeated washings
A textile product is disclosed having a latent image created from water-based ink which is applied using a screen printing process. The image is thereafter hidden underneath a second image created from a plasticizing emulsion such as plastisol which is partially cured. The partial cure causes a portion of the plasticizing emulsion to be removed from the textile product during washing and after repeated washings, the latent image becomes revealed.
Digital color chip method
A color display fan deck or a color card has a substrate having a first surface and a second surface. The color display fan deck or color card has a base layer that is applied to one of the first surface or the second surface of the substrate. The base layer has an adhesion promoting material. A process color is applied to the base layer by a digital printing process. A method of manufacturing a color display device is also provided.
