The present invention relates to an ink-jet printing method of overprinting a first ink and a second ink on a low-liquid absorbing printing medium, in which the first ink and the second ink are respectively in the form of a water-based ink containing a colorant (A), a polymer (B), an organic solvent (C) and water, and satisfy the following formulae (1) and (2), said ink-jet printing method including the steps of forming characters or images using at least one ink as the first ink, and then forming a background image using the second ink such that the background image is superimposed on at least a part of the characters or images formed by the first ink: [T.sub.2−T.sub.1]<0 mN/m (1); and [V.sub.2−V.sub.1]≥1.0 mPa.Math.s (2) wherein T.sub.2 is the static surface tension of the second ink; T.sub.1 is the static surface tension of the first ink; V.sub.2 is the viscosity of the second ink as measured at 32° C.; and V.sub.1 is the viscosity of the first ink as measured at 32° C. According to the method of the present invention, it is possible to obtain good printed characters or images that are excellent in uniformity of solid image printing and suffer from less intercolor bleeding.

METHOD FOR OBTAINING GLAZINGS PROVIDED WITH ELECTROCONDUCTIVE PATTERNS

A method for obtaining a glazing includes a glass sheet covered, on one of its faces with electroconductive patterns having in at least one area, a so-called extra thickness area, a greater thickness than in the other areas, the method including depositing by screenprinting a first electroconductive layer forming patterns on one side of the glass sheet, then depositing by a digital printing technique, in the or each extra thickness area, a second electroconductive layer on the first layer while the latter is still wet, then a heat treatment step to cure the first and the second layer.

METHOD FOR PRINTING ON COLORED SYNTHETIC FABRICS UTILIZING A DYE DISCHARGE MATERIAL
20220403592 · 2022-12-22 · ·

Provided herein is a method for forming an image on a dyed synthetic fabric, using a dye-discharge agent, the method is effected by printing an ink composition on the fabric and applying a dye-discharge agent essentially on the same area of the ink composition, wherein applying the dye-discharge agent is effected while the ink composition is still wet (uncured), prior to a curing of the image, and followed by curing the fully formed image, whereas the dye-discharge agent discharged the dye that migrated during the curing step, but not the dyed fabric.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A RELIEF-LIKE PRINTED IMAGE ON CONTAINERS
20220379647 · 2022-12-01 ·

A method for producing a relief-like printed image on containers is described in which print layers are layered onto one another by way of jet application of a printing paint, an ink, a varnish, or an adhesive from at least one print head onto a container, thereby producing elevated regions of the printed image. Due to the fact that the print layers are each applied in full tone printing, optical and haptic effects can be created on container surfaces with low equipment complexity and a minimal number of printing steps.

Spot gloss and gloss control in an inkjet printing system

Embodiments of the invention provide a technique that effects spot gloss or gloss control and/or variations on one image without requiring clear inks. This is preferably accomplished by use of a multilayer printing process in which an image is first printed using a first set of color print heads and then cured, and in which the image is again printed using a second set of color print head, but where the image remains uncured for a predetermined interval to allow the ink drops applied to the media to spread and thus introduce a gloss effect.

Image forming method, recorded matter, and image forming apparatus

An image forming method is provided. The image forming method includes the processes of: applying a porous layer forming material to a recording medium by an inkjet head to form a porous layer having an average pore diameter greater than 200 nm and not greater than 400 nm and an average thickness of from 5 to 30 μm; and applying a silver ink containing silver to the porous layer.

Array of individually packaged absorbent articles, container, and method of making
11583450 · 2023-02-21 · ·

A process for making individually wrapped personal hygiene absorbent articles is provided. It comprises: (i) providing a single image with indicia wherein at least one of the indicia is repeated more than once within said single image; (ii) printing a plurality of said single images over a continuous film to form a continuous repetition of the same single image in a side-by-side arrangement; (iii) cutting the printed film and/or web material along a transverse axis such to form a plurality of individual segments of film forming individual wrapping sheets comprising a portion of said single image and sized such to each accommodate one of said personal hygiene absorbent articles therein; (iv) wrapping individual personal hygiene absorbent articles each with one of said wrapping sheets such that a printed portion of the wrapping sheet is viewable; (v) stacking a plurality of the individually wrapped personal hygiene absorbent articles into a container.

Laminated body and method for producing the same, curable liquid composition set, inkjet printing apparatus, and inkjet printing method
