METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A DECORATIVE WORKPIECE AND WORKPIECE
The inventions relates to a method for producing a decorative workpiece with a structured surface comprising the following steps:
(B) applying a first liquid lacquer having a coarse structuring over the entire surface, wherein a difference in thickness between thicker regions and thinner regions is at least 50 μm, in particular at least 100 μm;
(E) applying a second liquid, at least partially transparent lacquer for producing a fine structuring in some regions.
Furthermore, an apparatus for performing the method and a workpiece produced by the method are claimed.

INKJET PRINTED FILM FOR DECORATIVE APPLICATIONS
An inkjet printed flexible film for decor applications is provided. In particular the present invention relates to an inkjet printed flexible film comprising a polymer film and an ink-receptive layer comprising polymerizable and/or crosslinkable compounds or a polymer crosslinked via (meth)acrylate moieties. Ink pigments can be applied to the ink-receptive layer in a print pattern by ink jet printing. The ink-receptive layer can be printed by means of industrial digital inkjet printing. The decor applications include any decorated surfaces for flooring, wall covering, furniture, ceilings and the like.

Method and apparatus for producing a decorative surface
A method for producing a decorative and structured surface with different gloss levels by feeding of a workpiece to a lacquer application device, application of a first liquid lacquer layer over an entire surface with a coarse structure in which a difference in thickness between thicker areas and thinner areas is at least 50 μm, in order to apply a second lacquer layer on the first lacquer layer wherein after curing the second lacquer layer has a different gloss level than the first lacquer layer.

Printing images for variable lighting conditions
In an example there is provided a printing method comprising receiving first and second image data for first and second images to be printed on a substrate, determining first print data for the first image on the basis of the first image data and a white layer to be printed between the first image and second image, to achieve a nominal color profile for the first image; determining second print data for the second image on the basis of the first image data, second image data, the white layer and one or more properties of the substrate to achieve a nominal color profile for the second image; communicating the print data for the first and second images to a printing device to print the first and second images and white layer on the substrate.
Systems and methods of UV printing on substrates
A system and method for printing patterns on a substrate, including a substrate; a powder; a sealing coating; and a UV curable paint; wherein the powder, the sealing coating and the UV curable paint are deposited onto the substrate and heated and cured. The method is designed to make the substrate have a faux appearance with lower costs than manufacturing the real substrate it was meant to look like.
INK JET RECORDING METHOD AND INK JET RECORDING APPARATUS
Provided is an ink jet recording method that enables recording of an image with a wide expressible color gamut and high fluorescence intensity. The ink jet recording method comprises a step of recording an image by applying first and second inks to a recording medium by using an ink jet recording apparatus, including a recording head having ejection orifices configured to eject the first and second inks, respectively, such that an area where the first ink is applied and an area where the second ink is applied at least partially overlap each other. The first ink contains an alkaline buffer and a pigment particle dispersed by an effect of an anionic group, the second ink contains a fluorescent particle dispersed by an effect of an anionic group, and a density ρ.sub.1 (g/cm.sup.3) of the pigment particle is more than a density ρ.sub.2 (g/cm.sup.3) of the fluorescent particle.
