Color shifting heat transfer label
A color shifting heat transfer label includes a carrier and a color design layer on the carrier. The color design layer is formulated from an ink having a color shifting effect. The color design layer is configured to separate from the carrier to define a color shifting feature that is adhered to a target object upon application of heat and pressure. The color shifting feature is adhered to the target object to define a plane defined by the color shifting feature such that the color shifting feature exhibits a first color when viewed from an angle of about 90 degrees relative to the plane defined by the color shifting feature and a second color, different from the first color when viewed from an angle of about 45 degrees or less relative to the plane defined by the color shifting feature.
IMAGE FORMATION APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PRODUCING COLORING MEDIUM
An image formation apparatus according to an embodiment may include: a first image formation section configured to form a first image of a developer containing a lustrous pigment; a second image formation section configured to form a second image of a dyeing developer; and a transfer section configured to transfer the first image and the second image on a medium such that the first image and the second image are stacked to each other on the medium.
Sliding board including on its visible face a decorated composite material and associated method
A method for decorating a sliding board including on its visible part, a composite material formed of a fibrous layer coated with hardenable resin, includes preparing a transfer film that includes a face covered with a pattern constituted of an arrangement of grains of at least one type of ink. The ink includes colourants and a crosslinked polymer. The method also includes positioning the face of the transfer film covered with the pattern on all or some of the external surface of the composite material, applying pressure and temperature conditions generating the softening or/then hardening of the resin to as to incrust the grains of the pattern in the superficial layer of the composite material while conserving the arrangement of the grains, and peeling the transfer film.

PIGMENT-TYPE HOT STAMPING FOIL, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME, AND HOT-STAMPED MEMBER INCLUDING PIGMENT-TYPE HOT STAMPING FOIL
Proposed are a pigment-type hot stamping foil, a method of manufacturing the same, and a hot-stamped member including the pigment-type hot stamping foil. The pigment-type hot stamping foil includes a carrier film layer, a release layer formed on a lower surface of the carrier film layer, a pigment-type colored coloring layer formed on a lower surface of the release layer, a pigment-type white coloring layer formed on a lower surface of the pigment-type colored coloring layer, a primer layer formed on a lower surface of the pigment-type white coloring layer, a metal deposition layer formed on a lower surface of the primer layer, and an adhesive layer formed on a surface of the metal deposition layer.
FLEXIBLE ABRASIVE ARTICLE WITH IMAGE LAYER
An abrasive article having a removable support sheet having a first major surface. An image layer containing inks applied over the first major surface. A polyurethane backing layer having a first major backing surface located adjacent to the image layer and a second major backing surface opposite the first major surface. A functional layer comprising an abrasive layer applied to the second major surface; the abrasive layer comprising a make coat, abrasive particles and a size coat.
TRANSFER SHEET, DESIGN PRODUCT, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DESIGN PRODUCT
A transfer sheet includes a base sheet and a transfer body. The transfer body includes a liquid-soluble adhesive layer and a liquid-insoluble sheet main body layer laminated on the liquid-soluble adhesive layer. The sheet main body layer includes a sticking layer adjacently laminated on the adhesive layer and a design layer adjacently laminated on the sticking layer. The sticking layer includes a protruding portion protruding outward beyond an end edge of the design layer. The protruding portion is transparent.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FILM POSITIVE PRINT TRANSFERS
Systems and methods for film positive print transfers during screen printing utilize positive artwork, one or more film positive design backups and one or more presses are presented. A screen having positive artwork creates one or more positive artwork design backups, which are stored for later use or used immediately. One or more items are screen printed with the positive artwork design. The one or more positive artwork design backups may be removed from storage and used to transfer the positive artwork to one or more replacement items.
