SUPPLYING LIQUID TO AT LEAST ONE AREA OF A SURFACE TO BE CLEANED

In the context of vacuum cleaning, a suction head is provided, which includes a housing that is couplable to an air suction source of a vacuum cleaner, and two brushes in a substantially parallel arrangement in the housing. The brushes are rotatable about a rotation axis and configured to interact with a surface to be cleaned. The suction head is further equipped with a wetting arrangement that enables a direct supply of liquid from at least one liquid supplying position to at least one area of the surface to be cleaned, where the at least one liquid supplying position is in an area between the brushes and at a level of the rotation axes of the brushes or closer to surface level.

An adapter device for suctioning air out of plastic bags of a type typically used for containing fallen leaves and other yard waste for disposal comprises a screen that surrounds a space that is connectable in fluid flow relation with the suction end of the vacuum hose, a shield positioned around the screen that is capable of preventing a plastic bag from being sucked by vacuum to the screen. The mouth of the shield is sized for blocking leaves or other yard waste matted in the bag from being sucked to the screen while allowing air in the bag to flow to the screen.

CLEANING DEVICE

A cleaning device comprises a surface interaction layer (ML), a cleaning fluid supply (CFF) provided with a cleaning fluid channel (CFC) at the surface interaction layer (ML) for supplying a cleaning fluid to a surface (F) through the surface interaction layer (ML) being in contact with the surface (F), and a dirty fluid drain (DFD) having a dirty fluid channel (DFC) at the surface interaction layer (ML) for draining, by means of underpressure, dirty water from the surface (F) through the surface interaction layer (ML) being in contact with the surface (F).

Vacuum tools

A vacuum tool configured to be removably coupled to hose or wand of a vacuum includes a body including a first end, a second end, and a first longitudinal axis extending between the first end and the second end. The vacuum tool also includes a head coupled to the first end of the body, a connection portion coupled to the second end of the body and configured to couple the body to a hose or wand of a vacuum cleaner, and a brush coupled to the head. The brush includes an elongate support defining a second axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the body and configured to couple the brush to the head, and a plurality of bristles positioned on the elongate support.

A method for autonomous processing of floor surfaces by a mobile, self-driving device, in particular a floor cleaning device such as a vacuum and/or sweeping and/or mopping robot. The method includes: the mobile, self-driving device carrying out an exploration travel in a proposed floor processing region, detecting obstacles and/or objects located on the floor by a detection device, classifying the obstacles and/or objects as movable or not movable, and transporting the obstacles and/or objects classified as movable to at least one collection point. The collection point is cleaned before obstacles and/or objects classified as movable are transported to the collection point.

The present invention discloses a diaper bag vacuum apparatus. The diaper bag is integrated on a vacuum system for cleaning up the mess such as food waste that is often created by the small infants. The vacuum system comprises one or more vacuum components include, an air handling tube, a solid separator assembly, a container, a motor, a blower or fan, a rechargeable battery and an exhaust tube, which are vacuum mounted in the cavity of a pull-out drawer beneath the diaper bag. A detachable hose is attached to the vacuum system via intake port to pick up debris from the floor. A filter in the solid separator allow only air and captures the debris inside the container. Further, the apparatus is battery operable, which enables the fan pulls the air into the center of the fan and ejects it into the exhaust tubing and released to the environment.

Surface cleaning apparatus

A hand held surface cleaning apparatus has a fluid flow path extending from a dirty fluid inlet provided at a front end of the hand held surface cleaning apparatus to a clean air outlet, the fluid flow path including a separator and a suction motor, wherein the suction motor is positioned rearward of the dirty fluid inlet. A separation stage comprising the separator, a solid collection chamber in communication with a separated element outlet of the separator and a separated liquid reservoir in communication with the solid collection chamber is provided. The solid collection chamber is positioned rearward of the separated liquid reservoir and the separator is positioned rearward of the solid collection chamber.

MOPPING EXTENSION FOR A ROBOTIC VACUUM

A method for cleaning a workspace, including: autonomously moving, with a mechanism of a robot, a cloth of a mopping assembly of the robot upwards and downwards relative to a work surface of the work space. The cloth is disengaged from the work surface when the cloth is moved upwards relative to the work surface such that the cloth is not in contact with the work surface. The cloth is engaged with the work surface when the cloth is moved downwards relative to the work surface such that the cloth is in contact with the work surface. The mechanism moves the cloth of the mopping assembly upwards and downwards relative to the work surface based on input provided by at least one sensor of the robot.
