Floor panel for forming a floor covering and method for manufacturing such floor panels
A method may be provided for manufacturing a floor panel having a substrate and a top layer. The top layer may have a decorative layer that includes a digital print and a transparent or translucent wear layer. The method may involve providing the substrate with the digital print by jetting one or more inks from a set of inks using a digital inkjet printer. The ink may include a binding agent that is present in an amount below 20 percent by weight of the ink. The translucent or transparent wear layer may be laminated on top of the digital print.
AN APPARATUS FOR DIGITAL PRINTING OF CARTON-BASED MATERIAL AND A METHOD THEREOF
An apparatus for digital printing of carton-based packaging material for packages holding liquid food products is provided. The packaging material has a first side adapted to form outer surfaces of the packages and a second side adapted to form inner surfaces of the packages. The apparatus includes an inlet configured to receive a web of the packaging material and an outlet configured to transfer the web of packaging material out of the apparatus, a web feeding assembly, arranged to feed the web in a web feeding direction from the inlet through the apparatus to the outlet, including at least one drive unit and at least one web direction device, a number of print bars provided with print heads arranged to provide food graded ink on the first side of the web, wherein the at least one drive unit and at least one web direction device provide a first web turning arrangement for turning the web after being received via the inlet such that the first side of the web is facing towards the print heads, and a second web turning arrangement for turning the web after the food graded ink has been provided by the print heads, wherein the first web turning arrangement provides a first slack upstream the number of print bars and the second web turning arrangement provides a second slack downstream the number of print bars.
Methods of manufacturing articles utilizing foam particles
Methods for manufacturing articles, including articles of footwear, apparel, and sporting equipment are provided. The methods comprise decorating a plurality of foam particles. The decorating can comprise applying a coating on the foam particles, or embossing or debossing the foam particles, or both. The decorating can comprise applying a coating on the foam particles by printing, painting, dyeing, applying a film, or any combination thereof. The plurality of foam particles are affixed utilizing aspects of additive manufacturing methods. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present disclosure.
Ink maintenance system for a printer
An ink maintenance system for a printer comprising a first tray having a base and a plurality of side walls, the first tray having a first length and an open top along the length and a second tray having a base and a plurality of side walls, the second tray having a second length and an open top along its length. The system also includes a fan and a filter. To use the system, a print head is positioned in a standby or cleaning position within the printer and ink is ejected from one or more print nozzles into an ink maintenance system within the printer such that the ejected ink is collected in at least one of a catch tray or a filter of the ink maintenance system. The system is then removable from the printer for cleaning.
DIGITAL THERMAL BINDER AND POWDER PRINTING
A method of forming a digital print on a surface by applying powder of dry ink including colourants on the surface, bonding a part of the dry ink powder to the surface by a digital heating print head such that the digital print is formed by the bonded dry ink colourants and removing non-bonded dry ink from the surface.
