An ink jet recording method performs recording on a recording medium using a white ink composition, a non-white ink composition, and a treatment liquid containing an aggregating agent, the method including: a treatment liquid adhesion step of adhering the treatment liquid to the recording medium to form a treatment liquid layer; a non-white ink adhesion step of adhering the non-white ink composition to the recording medium by ejection thereof from an ink jet head to form a non-white ink layer; and a white ink adhesion step of adhering the white ink composition to the recording medium by ejection thereof from an ink jet head to form a white ink layer. The recording medium has a region in which the non-white ink layer, the white ink layer, and the treatment liquid layer are overlapped with each other, at least one of the ink compositions contains resin particles and a water-soluble resin, and the water-soluble resin has a glass transition temperature higher than that of a resin of the resin particles.

Pneumatic leak measurement system based on absolute pressure drop measurement, with reference sample differential compensation

The object of the present invention is to fix the thermoplastic ink in powder state used to print digital images by means of an electrographic laser motor on self-adhesive web media such as self-adhesive paper webs, self-adhesive film webs such as polypropylenes, polyethylenes, polyesters, and vinyls, with different thicknesses and finishes, allowing work to be stopped between one production batch and another and/or stops for self-calibration of the print motor without changing the self-adhesive media, preventing problems due to overheating of the printout. The apparatus according to the present invention makes it possible to enhance the fixed prints with a glossy, matt, or holographed finish, without the need for subsequent treatment and/or the use of chemical materials afterwards, offering greater flexibility and economy at work.

METHOD OF FORMING PATTERN, PATTERN-PRODUCING APPARATUS, AND STEREOSCOPIC OBJECT-PRODUCING APPARATUS
20170361637 · 2017-12-21 ·

The present invention provides a method of forming a pattern that can form a precise pattern on a variety of media by using powders and provides a pattern-producing apparatus.

The method of forming a pattern includes providing a liquid pattern on a surface of a medium, applying a powder to the liquid pattern so as to adhere to the liquid pattern, removing the powdery particles of the powder not adhered to the liquid pattern to give a pattern of the powder, and further applying another powder to the pattern of the powder.

Printing onto a print medium

In some examples, a first heating stage heats a print medium to a first temperature in a printing region when printing latex ink on the print medium, and a curing heating stage heats, in a curing zone, the print medium to a curing temperature greater than the first temperature to cure the latex ink on the print medium. A cooling stage located between the first and curing heating stages cools the print medium by directing a first part of airflow from the cooling stage to a printing zone, the cooling performed after the print medium has been heated by the first heating stage and prior to heating of the print medium by the curing heating stage. A second part of the airflow is directed from the cooling stage to the curing zone.

E-textiles fabricated using particle-free conductive inks

Described herein are methods for forming e-textiles, wherein the methods include printing a particle-free conductive ink on a textile substrate, and curing the textile substrate to produce a conductive pattern thereon. The printing may include inkjet printing and may produce a printed pattern which exhibits an ink bleed of less than 0.5 mm, such as less than 0.2 mm. During printing, the textile substrate may be heated to a temperature of 30° C. to 90° C. before and during the printing process. The fabric substrate may be cured using heat and/or light to produce a conductive pattern having a sheet resistance of less than 10Ω/□, or even less than 1Ω/□.
