DIRECT THERMAL AND THERMAL TRANSFER LABEL COMBINATION
A direct thermal and thermal transfer label combination is provided. The label includes a substrate, and the substrate includes a thermal print coating applied to a front side of the substrate. The label also includes a liner attached to a backside of the substrate along a first side of the liner. Further, an aqueous resin-based thermal transfer coating is applied to a second side of the liner. The front side of the label is capable of being imaged through direct thermal printing while the second side of the liner represents an opposite side of the label that is capable of being imaged through thermal transfer printing.
Thermal transfer recording sheet
An object of the present invention is to provide a thermal transfer recording sheet that provides an image that is excellent in light fastness and has a satisfactory imbalance. The present invention relates to a thermal transfer recording sheet including a substrate and dye layers (a yellow dye layer, a magenta dye layer, and a cyan dye layer), in which one or more kinds of the dye layers each contain one or more kinds of specific compounds. The present invention also relates to a thermal transfer recording sheet including a substrate, dye layers, and a protective layer for protecting the surface of an image, in which the protective layer contains one or more kinds of specific compounds.
Receiver material having a polymer with nano-composite filler material
A transferable receiver material is provided that includes a polymer film assembly comprising inorganic particles having a first dimension smaller than 100 nanometers and an orthogonal, second dimension larger than 100 nanometers. The polymer film assembly can be coupled with a carrier film and the polymer film assembly can be configured to separate from the carrier film and couple with a target object surface along a defined edge upon application of heat. Optionally, the polymer film assembly includes a holographic image configured to be transferred to a target object surface upon application of heat. The polymer film assembly can be configured to receive one or more dyes, pigments, inks, special effect materials, or special effect metals for thermally transfer onto a target object. After transfer onto a target object, images transferred by the material are visible through the polymer film assembly.

THERMAL TRANSFER IMAGE-RECEIVING SHEET
A thermal transfer image-receiving sheet has a primer layer and a receiving layer. The primer layer contains binder resin and metal pigment. When a value obtained by dividing the mass of the metal pigment by the mass of the binder resin is A and the thickness of the primer layer is B, A is 0.5 to 3.5, and A/B is 0.15 to 6. When light is made incident on the surface on the receiving layer side at an incident angle of 45°, ΔL* between L* at a light-receiving angle obtained by tilting specular reflection light, generated when light is made incident on the surface on the receiving layer side at an incident angle of 45°, toward the incident light side by 15° and L* at a light-receiving angle obtained by tilting the specular reflection light toward the incident light side by 110° is 110 or more.
Releasing member-integrated transfer sheet, method for producing print, method for producing transfer sheet, and print system
Provided is a releasing member-integrated transfer sheet capable of improving both the conveyability on forming an image on a transfer layer and the transferability on transferring the transfer layer onto a transfer receiving article. A releasing member-integrated transfer sheet includes a releasing member including a first support and an adhesive layer provided on the first support, and a transfer sheet including a second support and a transfer layer provided on the second support, the transfer sheet being integrated with the releasing member such that the adhesive layer is opposed to the second support. The transfer layer is peelable from the second support, and the adhesive force between the second support and the adhesive layer is smaller than the adhesive force between the first support and the adhesive layer to thereby make the releasing member separable from the transfer sheet.
PROTECTIVE LAYER TRANSFER SHEET
To provide a protective layer transfer sheet that can produce a print having excellent abrasion resistance and an excellent glossiness.
A protective layer transfer sheet 100 including a transfer layer 10 provided on one surface of a substrate 1, wherein the transfer layer 10 has a single-layer structure composed only of a protective layer 5 or a layered structure in which the protective layer 10 is located nearest to a side of the substrate 1, and the protective layer 5 contains a styrene resin and a particulate organofluorine compound.
THERMAL TRANSFER RIBBON
A thermal transfer ribbon including a substrate, the substrate has a surface provided with dye layer parts and transferable protective layer parts repeatedly formed thereon, and the transferrable protective layer parts include first layer parts formed on the substrate, and second layer parts formed on the respective first layer parts. The first layer parts contain a charge control agent, and the second layer parts contain an antistatic agent and a lubricant.
Sublimation-Transfer Ink Jet Ink Composition And Production Method For Printed Article
A sublimation-transfer ink jet ink composition contains dyes and water, where the dyes include one or more yellow dyes and one or more blue dyes; the yellow dyes include C.I. Solvent Yellow 160:1; and the blue dyes include one or more selected from C.I. Disperse Blue 60, C.I. Disperse Blue 359, and C.I. Disperse Blue 360.
Decoration by sublimation transfer sheet
A sublimation transfer sheet assembly including a first layer and an dye or ink layer positioned on a first side of the first layer. The first layer and the dye or ink layer being positioned such that when the sublimation transfer sheet assembly is wrapped about an object with the dye or ink layer facing the object, a first edge portion of the sublimation transfer sheet assembly is overlapped by a second edge portion of the sublimation transfer sheet assembly, and the first edge portion is interposed between the second edge portion and the object.
