COMPOSITIONS FOR PRODUCING GLASS COATINGS BY WAY OF INKJET PRINTING TECHNIQUES AND USE THEREOF
A coating material for the production of a UV-curing primer coating. The coating material includes at least 60 to 90 wt.-% of at least one monofunctional cycloaliphatic acrylate monomer or at least one monofunctional aryloxy alkyl acrylate monomer, 1 to 10 wt.-% of at least one amino-functional silane, 1 to 10 wt.-% of at least one photoinitiator, and up to 10 wt.-% of at least one of at least one acrylate oligomer and at least one methacrylate oligomer, each based on a total weight of the coating material.
Additive color printing using multiple color graphic layers
Methods and systems are provided for color printing. A three-dimensional object can be printed onto an article using the methods and systems. The three-dimensional object can include a lower color graphic layer printed onto an article, one or more transparent structural layers printed onto the lower color graphic layer, and an upper color graphic layer printed onto an uppermost layer of the one or more transparent structural layers. The upper color graphic layer and the lower color graphic layer collectively visually depict a color graphic image.
Tacky microporous transfer material
The invention relates to a transfer material for the dye sublimation transfer method (sublimation paper) for printing an inkjet print image, comprising a substrate and an ink receiving layer, which layer contains a pigment and a binding agent, on the front face of the transfer material, the ink receiving layer being porous and thermoplastic particles being arranged on the ink receiving layer. The porous ink receiving layer, together with the thermoplastic particles arranged thereon, have an air permeance according to Bendtsen of greater than 100 ml/min and the thermoplastic particles have a diameter of 0.3 m to 5 m and a melting point of 60 C. to 170 C.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PAPER PRINTABLE WITH INKJET FOR USE AS A DECOR PAPER
A paper for inkjet printing may have one side that is provided with an inkjet receiver coating. The inkjet receiver coating may comprise at least pigment and binder. A portion of free or unbound pigment may be less than 10 weight percent of the total amount of pigment in the inkjet receiver coating and/or the inkjet receiver coating may have a surface that is substantially free of pigment.
DRAWING OBJECT AND METHOD OF FORMING DRAWING OBJECT
A drawing object according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a stacked body including a plurality of heat-sensitive recording layers stacked with a heat-insulating layer interposed therebetween. The heat-sensitive recording layers are different from each other in color in a color-developed state and light absorption wavelength band. The plurality of heat-sensitive recording layers each has a striped pattern drawn as a drawing mark resulting from irradiating a surface of the drawing object with a laser light beam. The striped pattern extends in a first direction and has irregular widths.
Method for manufacturing paper printable with inkjet for use as a decor paper
A method for manufacturing paper or thermoplastic foil printable with an inkjet printer for use as a decor paper, respectively decor foil in a laminate or laminated panel may involve providing a paper layer, respectively a thermoplastic foil. At least one side of the paper layer, respectively the foil may be coated with an inkjet receiver coating that includes pigment and binder. Application of the inkjet receiver coating may involve applying a first layer with a first composition and, subsequently, applying a second layer with a second composition. Both the first and the second compositions may include the binder. Papers and foils may also be obtained. A method of manufacturing panels may involve providing the paper or foil with a printed pattern and used as a decor in the panels.
RECORDING MEDIUM AND RECORDING DEVICE
A recording medium according to an embodiment includes a base material; a first color developing layer that is laminated on the base material, and absorbs light having a given wavelength to develop a color; a photothermal conversion layer that is laminated closer to an incident side of the light than the first color developing layer, transmits visible light, and absorbs the light for photothermal conversion; and a second color developing layer that is laminated closer to the incident side of the light than the first color developing layer, transmits visible light and the light, and develops a color by heat converted by the photothermal conversion layer.
ADDITIVE COLOR PRINTING
Methods and systems are provided for color printing onto nonwhite substrates and articles. For example, an article of apparel is provided that includes multiple layers of ink with a combination of a white ink and at least one color ink, and each layer having a ratio of white ink to color ink, and the ratios of white ink to color ink are different.
Direct thermal and thermal transfer label combination
A direct thermal and thermal transfer label combination is provided. The label includes a substrate, and the substrate includes a thermal print coating applied to a front side of the substrate. The label also includes a liner attached to a backside of the substrate along a first side of the liner. Further, an aqueous resin-based thermal transfer coating is applied to a second side of the liner. The front side of the label is capable of being imaged through direct thermal printing while the second side of the liner represents an opposite side of the label that is capable of being imaged through thermal transfer printing.
LAMINATE, CARD, AND HOUSING
The laminate includes: a base material; an intermediate layer provided on the base material and having an accommodation part; a recording medium provided in the accommodation part; and an overlay layer provided on the intermediate layer. The accommodation part is provided in a part of a plane of the intermediate layer, and the accommodation part is a through hole penetrating in the thickness direction of the intermediate layer or a recess recessed in the thickness direction of the intermediate layer. The recording medium includes a color development layer containing: a coloring compound having an electron donating property; a developer having an electron accepting property; and a matrix resin. The base material, the intermediate layer, and the overlay layer contain the same type of resin material. The base material and the intermediate layer are bonded to each other by fusion, and the intermediate layer and the overlay layer are bonded to each other by fusion.
