A suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner, the suction nozzle comprising a suction chamber, an outlet duct extending from the suction chamber for connection to a vacuum source on the vacuum cleaner, a soleplate for supporting the nozzle on a carpeted floor, a suction opening in the soleplate which opens into the suction chamber, and a valve which can be manually operated to open or close a bleed path through the front of the nozzle into the suction chamber, the bleed path being defined by a channel formed on the underside of the soleplate which is fluidly connected to the outlet duct, the channel terminating in an entrance slot on the front of the nozzle for admitting debris as the suction nozzle is pushed in a forward direction, the channel defining a throat downstream of the entrance slot, the throat having a smaller cross-sectional area than the entrance slot.

A robot cleaner comprising: a cleaner body including a wheel unit and a controller controlling driving of the wheel unit; a dust container accommodation part having a shape recessed toward the front from the rear thereof to be opened to the rear; a dust container detachably coupled to the dust container accommodation part, the dust container have a portion protruding rearward of a rear end of the cleaner body in a state in which the dust container is accommodated in the dust container accommodation part; and a dust container cover rotatably coupled to the cleaner body to cover the dust container, wherein the dust container cover is accommodated in the dust container accommodation part in a state in which the dust container cover is disposed to cover the dust container, and a portion of the dust container cover protrudes rearward of the rear end of the cleaner body.

A suction nozzle of an electric vacuum cleaner including an electric blower, includes a suction inlet; an outlet; a suction passage extending along a center line joining a middle of the suction inlet in the longitudinal direction and a middle of the outlet in the longitudinal direction to connect the suction inlet and the outlet; and partition walls arranged in the suction passage to extend from the suction inlet side to the outlet side. The suction passage includes a main passage and division passages arranged on both outer sides of the main passage. The main passage and the division passages are divided in the longitudinal direction of the suction inlet by the partition walls. A width of the main passage at the suction inlet measured in the longitudinal direction is arranged to be greater than a width of the main passage at the outlet measured in the longitudinal direction.

A suction nozzle of an electric vacuum cleaner including an electric blower, includes a suction inlet; an outlet; a suction passage extending along a center line joining a middle of the suction inlet in the longitudinal direction and a middle of the outlet in the longitudinal direction to connect the suction inlet and the outlet; and partition walls arranged in the suction passage to extend from the suction inlet side to the outlet side. The suction passage includes a main passage and division passages arranged on both outer sides of the main passage. Provided is a suction unit to be provided in an electric vacuum cleaner including an electric blower. The disclosed cleaner comprises: a cleaner body for generating a suction force; a flexible hose connected to the cleaner body; an extension tube connected to the flexible hose; and a dirt suction guide device separately coupled to the extension tube, wherein the dirt suction guide device comprises a body, a movable portion, which is connected to one side of the body, and which is coupled to be able to slide with regard to the body, and a connecting portion, which is connected to the other side of the body, and which connects the body to the extension tube, and the body is hinge-coupled such that the same can selectively maintain and change an angle with regard to the extension tube.

Disclosed are a dirt suction guide device and a cleaner comprising the same. The disclosed cleaner comprises: a cleaner body for generating a suction force; a flexible hose connected to the cleaner body; an extension tube connected to the flexible hose; and a dirt suction guide device separately coupled to the extension tube, wherein the dirt suction guide device comprises a body, a movable portion, which is connected to one side of the body, and which is coupled to be able to slide with regard to the body, and a connecting portion, which is connected to the other side of the body, and which connects the body to the extension tube, and the body is hinge-coupled such that the same can selectively maintain and change an angle with regard to the extension tube.

A vacuum cleaner includes: a dust canister; a cover rotatably coupled to the dust canister; an filter assembly mounted inside the dust canister and configured to be exposed by an opening of the cover; and a crevice tool coupling to an air entrance of the dust canister or an extension pipe connected to the air entrance. The filter assembly includes an opening portion opened toward the cover, and a protrusion portion protruding from an inner circumferential surface of the opening portion. The crevice tool includes a catching rib caught on the protrusion portion according to insertion and rotation of the crevice tool in the opening portion. The filter assembly is configured to withdraw from the dust canister together with the crevice tool based on withdrawing of the crevice tool to the outside of the dust canister in a state in which the catching rib is caught on the protrusion portion.

A vacuum cleaner includes: a dust canister; a cover rotatably coupled to the dust canister; an filter assembly mounted inside the dust canister and configured to be exposed by an opening of the cover; and a crevice tool coupling to an air entrance of the dust canister or an extension pipe connected to the air entrance. The filter assembly includes an opening portion opened toward the cover, and a protrusion portion protruding from an inner circumferential surface of the opening portion. The crevice tool includes a catching rib caught on the protrusion portion according to insertion and rotation of the crevice tool in the opening portion. The filter assembly is configured to withdraw from the dust canister together with the crevice tool based on withdrawing of the crevice tool to the outside of the dust canister in a state in which the catching rib is caught on the protrusion portion.
