A surface cleaning apparatus for cleaning a surface including: a housing supporting: a suction source; a dirt separation device for separating dirt from dirt-laden air; a dirt separation device including a dirt collection chamber for receiving dirt from the dirt separation device, wherein the dirt collection chamber has an elongate axis (A); a user graspable handle having an elongate axis (C), a passage member for transporting dirt-laden air to the dirt separation device, the passage member having an elongate axis (B); a coupling device moveable between a first position in which detachment of the body from the housing is inhibited and a second position in which detachment of the body is permitted; an actuator member for effecting movement of the coupling device between its first and second positions, wherein the elongate axis (B) of the passage member and the elongate axis (C) of the user graspable handle lie in a plane (P1), and the elongate axis (A) of the dirt collection chamber intersects the plane (P1).

Cleaner

A cleaner includes: a suction motor that generates suction force; a dust separation unit that separates dust from air sucked by the suction force; a motor housing that covers the suction motor; a flow guide that surrounds an outer side of the motor housing and guides air discharged from the dust separation unit to the suction motor; and a body that forms an external appearance by surrounding the flow guide and guides air discharged from the suction motor together with the flow guide.

ELECTRIC VACUUM CLEANING APPARATUS

An electric vacuum cleaning apparatus includes a station and an electric vacuum cleaner connectable/disconnectable from the station. The electric vacuum cleaner includes: a coarse-dust collecting chamber that accumulates coarse dust separated with a first separator; a filter chamber that accumulates fine dust separated with a filter; a coarse-dust waste-outlet that discharges the coarse dust from the coarse-dust collecting chamber; a fine-dust waste-outlet adjacent to the coarse-dust waste-outlet and discharges the fine dust from the filter chamber; and a waste-outlet lid that opens/closes both the coarse-dust waste-outlet and fine-dust waste-outlet together. The station includes: a secondary dust container accumulating coarse dust to be discharged from a primary dust container through the coarse-dust waste-outlet port and fine dust to be discharged from the primary dust container through the fine-dust waste-outlet; and a secondary electromotive blower that applies negative pressure to the primary dust container to transfer the coarse and fine dust.

LEAF BLOWER

The present invention provides a leaf blower, which includes a machine head and an air inlet channel. The machine head communicates with the air inlet channel, and the machine head is internally provided with a fan blade and a motor driving the fan blade to rotate. A lower end of the machine head is connected to a leaf collection bag. A side of the air inlet channel is provided with an opening, the opening is provided with a collecting box, and an upper end and a lower end of the opening are respectively provided with a first baffle and a second baffle. The leaf blower can effectively solve a problem that in practical application, the leaf blower may be damaged by some high-hardness small stones sucked into the leaf blower.

Portable surface cleaning apparatus

A portable surface cleaning apparatus has a main body, an air treatment member and a handle wherein the dirty air inlet is provided in the front face at a location below the horizontal plane, and wherein the handle overlies a portion of the cyclone chamber and the suction motor.

A cyclone assembly for a surface cleaning apparatus has a first cyclonic cleaning stage and a second cyclonic cleaning stage downstream from the first cyclonic cleaning stage. The second cyclonic cleaning stage has more air inlets than the first cyclonic cleaning stage. The second cyclonic cleaning stage has a second stage air inlet cross-sectional area in a direction transverse to a direction of air flow entering the second stage cyclone chamber that is 1.1-2 times larger than a first stage air inlet cross-sectional area in a direction transverse to a direction of air flow entering the first stage cyclone chamber.

Evacuation station

An evacuation station includes a base and a canister removably attached to the base. The base includes a ramp having an inclined surface for receiving a robotic cleaner having a debris bin. The ramp defines an evacuation intake opening arranged to pneumatically interface with the debris bin. The base also includes a first conduit portion pneumatically connected to the evacuation intake opening, an air mover having an inlet and an exhaust, and a particle filter pneumatically the exhaust of the air mover. The canister includes a second conduit portion arranged to pneumatically interface with the first conduit portion to form a pneumatic debris intake conduit, an exhaust conduit arranged to pneumatically connect to the inlet of the air mover when the canister is attached to the base, and a separator in pneumatic communication with the second conduit portion.

Automatic filter cleaning system

An automatic filter cleaning system, e.g., for cleaning a filter in a vacuum cleaner. The cleaning system has an electrical motor that drives/rotates, directly/indirectly, a piston which directly/indirectly opens a filter cleaning valve. The filter cleaning valve may open for a filter cleaning back flow air stream that thus cleans the filter. The piston is spring loaded and a piston guide ensures that the energy accumulated in the spring and piston is released during the rotation of the piston, thereby shortly opening the filter cleaning valve.
