The stationary portion comprises an upper portion of the first cyclonic stage and the openable portion comprises a lower portion of the first cyclonic stage. The rotatable mount is located at a rearward end of the openable portion.
Vacuum cleaner and docking station configured to cooperate with the same
A cleaning system may include a vacuum cleaner and a docking station. The vacuum cleaner may include an air inlet, a suction motor having a suction motor inlet and a suction motor outlet, and a cleaner dust cup configured to transition between a collection position and an emptying position, the cleaner dust cup being upstream of the suction motor inlet when in the collection position and downstream of the suction motor outlet when in the emptying position. The docking station may include a base, a support extending from the base, a station dust cup removably coupled to the support, and a receptacle coupled to the support and configured to receive at least a portion of the vacuum cleaner, the cleaner dust cup being fluidly coupled to and upstream of the station dust cup when the vacuum cleaner is inserted in the receptacle.
Surface cleaning apparatus
A hand vacuum cleaner comprises a body which houses a suction motor. A handle is provided on a sidewall of the body and extends outwardly therefrom. The handle axis intersects the suction motor. An air treatment member comprises a chamber, which has an openable door and which forms a front face of the hand vacuum cleaner. The air treatment member having an inner hollow member that occupies all of the central portion of the chamber between the front end of the chamber and a rear end of the chamber. The air treatment member has an openable door lock comprising a door release actuator wherein the door is moveable to an open position in which the chamber is opened when the door release actuator is actuated.
HAND CARRYABLE SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A hand vacuum cleaner has a cyclone having a cyclone axis of rotation that extends between the front and rear ends of the cyclone. A main body houses a suction motor. The suction motor is positioned rearward of the cyclone. The suction motor has an axis of rotation that is parallel to the cyclone axis of rotation. A pistol grip handle is located at the rear end of the hand vacuum cleaner wherein a finger grip area is positioned forward of the pistol grip handle and rearward of the main body. The cyclone axis of rotation extends through the pistol grip handle. An energy storage unit located at a lower end of the pistol grip handle and a power switch located at an upper end of the pistol grip handle.
Surface cleaning apparatus
A stick surface cleaning apparatus has a cyclone unit provided in the wand.
Robotic vacuum cleaner and docking station for a robotic vacuum cleaner
A robotic vacuum cleaner has a mechanical transfer mechanism that is used to transfer dirt from the robotic vacuum cleaner to a docking station.
Vacuum cleaner
Provided is a vacuum cleaner including a cleaner body; a cover member installed at an upper portion of the cleaner body to be opened and closed and configured to form a part of a front surface and an upper surface of the cleaner body; a suction hose provided at a front surface of the cover member; a hole formed at the front surface of the cover member to be in communication with the suction hose; and an outlet port formed at a rear surface of the cleaner body to be located at a position lower than the hole, wherein air introduced through the hole is discharged to the outlet port via an inside of the cleaner body.
Vacuum cleaner
A vacuum cleaner comprising: a housing; a motor fan assembly arranged to generate an air flow; a dirt container in fluid communication with a dirty air inlet and the motor fan assembly; a moveable dirt compactor mounted in the dirt container and moveable between a stowed position and a dirt compacting position wherein the moveable dirt compactor is closer to one end of the dirt container in the dirt compacting position than in the stowed position, wherein the movable dirt compactor is shaped so as to allow dirt within the dirt container located on one side of the dirt compactor to pass to the other side of the dirt compactor; and a detector switch coupled to the moveable dirt compactor, the detector switch configured to open an electrical circuit and interrupt power supplied to the motor fan assembly when the moveable dirt compactor moves towards the dirt compacting position and urges dirt towards the one end of the dirt container.
REMOVING DEBRIS FROM CLEANING ROBOTS
A cleaning robot system including a robot and a robot maintenance station. The robot includes a robot body, a drive system, a cleaning assembly, and a cleaning bin carried by the robot body and configured to receive debris agitated by the cleaning assembly. The robot maintenance station includes a station housing configured to receive the robot for maintenance. The station housing has an evacuation passageway exposed to a top portion of the received robot. The robot maintenance station also includes an air mover in pneumatic communication with the evacuation passageway and a collection bin carried by the station housing and in pneumatic communication with the evacuation passageway. The station housing and the robot body fluidly connect the evacuation passageway to the cleaning bin of the received robot. The air mover evacuates debris held in the robot cleaning bin to the collection bin through the evacuation passageway.
SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A surface cleaning apparatus includes an air flow path, a filter housing, and a filter member in the filter housing. In some embodiments, the filter member includes a plurality of individual filter elements arranged in parallel, each including porous filter material having at least one upstream face and at least one portion defining a porous filter media air outlet. In other embodiments, the filter member has an outer upstream surface that abuts an axially extending air impermeable wall to inhibit bypass of the filter.
