Dust and allergen control for surface cleaning apparatus

A surface cleaning apparatus has an air flow path extending from a dirty air inlet to a clean air outlet with a main air treatment member having a dirt collection region having an openable door and a main suction motor provided in the air flow path. The dirt collection region is exposed to sub-atmospheric pressure when the openable door is in an open position.

AUTONOMOUS VACUUM
20190090706 · 2019-03-28 ·

An autonomous vacuum cleaner operable to navigate about a surrounding environment to perform a surface cleaning operation without continuous human input. The vacuum cleaner includes a suction nozzle and a suction motor and a fan assembly operable to generate an airflow through the vacuum cleaner from the suction nozzle through a debris separator to a clean air exhaust. The suction motor and the fan assembly having an axis of rotation and a fan of the fan assembly rotatable about the axis of rotation. The axis of rotation is orientated horizontally. The debris separator includes a cyclonic separator operable to separate debris from the airflow and the cyclonic separator includes a cylindrical wall along a longitudinal axis, the longitudinal axis of the cyclonic separator being orientated horizontally.

Filter assembly, filter device and dust collector

Disclosed is a filter device, including: a filter cage, a filter cartridge sleeved at outer side of the filter cage and an end cap connected to one end of the filter cartridge; the end cap is provided with a through end hole, and one end of the filter cage corresponding to the end cap is provided with a middle column penetrating through the end hole; and the filter device further includes: a cover body installed at outer side of the end cap; where the end cap is provided with a plurality of clamping elements used for pressing against the middle column, and the cover body pushes the clamping elements to move to the middle column in a process that the cover body rotates around the middle column along a rotation direction, so that the middle column is clamped by the plurality of clamping elements.

Hand vacuum cleaner

A hand vacuum cleaner having a main body and cyclone unit provided at a front end of the main body. The cyclone unit has a front openable door.

Dust container

A dust container for an autonomous cleaner. The dust container includes: a container wall enclosing a dust chamber; a first side; a second side; an inlet opening to the dust chamber for dust particles and air arranged in the first side of the container; an outlet opening from the dust chamber for air arranged in the second side of the dust container; and a filter arranged in the dust container such that the flow of air through the dust container pass through the filter. Also provided is an autonomous cleaner having the dust container.

Autonomous vacuum

An autonomous vacuum cleaner includes an outer housing and a separator assembly that is removably received by the autonomous vacuum cleaner. A portion of the separator assembly defines a portion of at least two walls of the outer housing.

Robot cleaner, station, and cleaning system

Provided is a cleaning system including: a robot cleaner including a dust collecting device having a dirt outlet and an outlet door configured to open and close the dirt outlet; and a station including a collecting device configured to generate a suction force to suction dirt of the duct collecting device and a lever device provided with a lever configured to be fixable to the outlet door as the outlet door is being opened to allow the collecting device and the dust collecting device to communicate with each other, and a lever driving source configured to generate power for driving the lever.

FILTER ASSEMBLY FOR A VACUUM CLEANER

A filter assembly for use in a vacuum cleaner includes a filter medium including a state-changing material which changes state in dependence on the quantity of liquid to which the filter medium is exposed to provide a first status indication to a user that the filter assembly is suitable for use in the vacuum cleaner when the state-changing material is in a first state and a second status indication to the user that the filter assembly is not suitable for use in the vacuum cleaner when the state-changing material is in a second state.

Hand-held surface cleaning device

In general, the present disclosure is directed to a hand-held surface cleaning device that includes a relatively compact form-factor to allow users to store the same in a nearby location (e.g., in a drawer, in an associated charging dock, on a table top) for easy access to perform relatively small cleaning tasks that would otherwise require retrieving a full-size vacuum from storage. A hand-held surface cleaning device consistent with aspects of the present disclosure includes a body (or body portion) with a motor, power source and dust cup disposed therein. The body portion also functions as a handgrip to allow the hand-held surface cleaning device to be operated by one hand, for example.

Vacuum collection vehicle

A vacuum collection vehicle may include a chassis, a vacuum container supported by the chassis, a vacuum source in pneumatic connection with an interior of the vacuum container. A plurality of discharge conduits have a plurality of respective outlets at different locations within the interior of the vacuum container for discharging collected material into different collection receptacles. Inner collection receptacle supports support transmissive flexible and collapsible inner collection receptacles below the outlets. Outer collection receptacle supports support non-transmissive flexible and collapsible outer collection receptacles about and spaced from the transmissive flexible and collapsible inner collection receptacles.
