A DEVICE AND A METHOD FOR CLAMPINGLY POSITIONING A HEAT TRANSFER SHEET AROUND A SUBSTRATE
The invention relates to a method and a device for clampingly holding against a substrate (8), for example a drinking cup, a heat transfer sheet (5) using a clamping sheet (2), the method comprising the steps of:providing a device (1) with a substrate holder (10) for clampingly holding the substrate (8);providing a clamping sheet (2) with a width and a length, said length being measured between longitudinal ends of the clamping sheet (2), and wherein at the longitudinal ends of the clamping sheet (2) coupling means (3) are provided, positioning in catch means (4) of a positioning device the coupling means (3) for keeping the clamping sheet (2) in a first position; especially wherein the method further comprises the steps of:positioning on the clamping sheet (2) a heat transfer sheet (5) wherein a layer comprising a transferrable ink is to be directed towards the substrate (8);positioning against each other the substrate (8) and the heat transfer sheet (5);moving along the substrate the coupling means (3) and at least partially extending the clamping sheet (2); andmoving towards each other the coupling means (3) that are provided at respective ends of. the clamping sheet (2) for clamping the heat transfer sheet (5) in a second position against the substrate (8) wherein the clamping sheet (2) has a substantially maximum extension.
Graphic arts assembly with magnetic support structure
A graphic arts support assembly is operable to be used with a graphic arts plate assembly in a press. The graphic arts support assembly and the plate assembly are configured for removable association with a lift mechanism including a shiftable lift element. The support assembly includes a graphic arts magnetic support structure operable to removably support the graphic arts plate assembly. The magnetic support structure includes a support plate, a magnet fixed relative to the plate, and an alignment element projecting from the support plate. The support assembly is operable to be mounted on the lift mechanism so that the lift element is aligned with a lift opening of the support plate, with the lift element shiftable through the lift opening to locate at least part of the graphic arts plate assembly away from the support plate.
Advance-shaft transition apparatus and hot foil stamping and die-cutting equipment
The present invention relates to an advance shaft transition apparatus for sheet processing equipment, which comprising: a plurality of advance shafts for feeding foils, the plurality of advance shafts being arranged along a horizontal direction; an advance shaft supporting frame, the advance shaft supporting frame supporting the ends of the advance shafts so that the advance shafts can freely rotate; and a lifting means, the lifting means is provided with a driving means and a transmission mechanism, the lifting means is connected to the advance shaft supporting frame to enable the advance shafts to move between a first position and a second position, at the first position, the advance shafts is operably rotated to feed the foil, and at the second position, the advance shafts being lifted up from the first position to leave a position where the foil can be fed.
REEL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR A WEB MATERIAL PROCESSING MACHINE AND HOTFOIL STAMPING MACHINE
A reel support assembly (14) for a web material processing machine is described. The reel support assembly (14) comprises a support frame (16) and at least a first support arm unit (34a) having at least one holding stub (40) for mounting a reel (12) on the first support arm unit (34a). Furthermore, the reel support assembly (14) comprises an elevator unit (24) having a support element (26) on which a reel (12) may be placed. The support element (26) is supported on the support frame (16) in a vertically movable manner. Additionally, a hotfoil stamping machine (10) is presented which comprises such a reel support assembly (14). The reel support assembly (14) is arranged at an upstream end of the hotfoil stamping machine (10) with respect to a web travelling direction.
Information processing equipment and computer-readable recording medium for pressing multiple colors of metal leaf
According to one aspect of the present invention, when there is no leaf object striding over a boundary of two leaf rolls in a leaf image, a leaf image generating section performs processing for dividing first leaf image in first print data for leaves and a second leaf image of second print data for leaves at the boundary, replacing one of divided leaf images with one of other divided leaf images that hold the boundary between the first leaf image and the second leaf image to generate a first combined-leaves image and a second combined-leaves image, and rotating the second combined-leaves image at a predetermined angle.

DEVICE FOR HOT-FOIL STAMPING
A device for hot-foil stamping on printing materials includes a heated stamping cylinder, a counterpressure cylinder, and a device for providing stamping foil. The device for providing stamping foil guides the stamping foil between the stamping cylinder and the counterpressure cylinder in a direction tangential to the cylinders. The device for providing stamping foil has an adjustable guide element that is disposed downstream of the stamping cylinder and of the counterpressure cylinder for guiding the stamping foil. The hot-foil stamping device advantageously allows the stamping quality to be optimized.
