A vacuum cleaner includes an upright body mounted to a base that moves over a surface to be cleaned. A rotational coupling can be provided between the upright body and the base for coupling the upright body to the base for movement about at least one rotational axis. The rotational coupling can include at least a swivel joint. A cord rewinder can be provided above the swivel joint for storing and dispensing a power cord.

A vacuum cleaner includes an upright body mounted to a base that moves over a surface to be cleaned. A rotational coupling can be provided between the upright body and the base for coupling the upright body to the base for movement about at least one rotational axis. The rotational coupling can include at least a swivel joint. A cord rewinder can be provided above the swivel joint for storing and dispensing a power cord.

Embodiments of the present invention described herein relate to vacuum cleaners. The vacuum cleaners described herein can include a motor, a lid, a collection receptacle, and at least one support member to permit access to the interior of the vacuum cleaner. Also described herein are vacuum cleaners having a motor, a lid, a collection receptacle, and an accessory holder that can be pivotally mounted to the collection receptacle to permit access to the contents thereof.

A vacuum cleaner may include a cleaner body having a suction motor and a suctioning portion configured to be in communication with the cleaner body and to suction air and dust. One of a battery assembly having a battery or a cord reel assembly having a power cord may be installed in the cleaner body. The vacuum cleaner may also include a controller to control the suction motor by modifying a pulse width modulation (PWM) duty cycle of an inverter providing power to the suction motor based on whether the battery assembly or the cord reel assembly is installed in the cleaner body.

The upright vacuum cleaner operates in the cordless mode when the battery is connected to the electrical connection interface. The vacuum cleaner operates in the corded mode when the power cord is connected to the electrical connection interface.

A vacuum cleaning system includes an upright vacuum cleaner operable in a cordless mode and a corded mode. The upright vacuum cleaner includes a cleaning head for removing debris from a floor, a debris tube connected to the cleaning head for receiving the debris, and an electrical connection interface. A rechargeable vacuum cleaner assembly includes: a rechargeable vacuum cleaner provided with a first magnetic member (1011); and a charging stand (100) provided with a second magnetic member (1012), in which the first magnetic member (1011) is configured to cooperate with the second magnetic member (1012) through magnetic attraction so as to position the rechargeable vacuum cleaner to the charging stand (100).

A charging stand (100) for a vacuum cleaner (200) includes: a body (1), a charger (7) and a wire-winding frame (6). The charger (7) is connected with the body (1) via a power cord (71) and provided with a pin (72); the wire-winding frame (6) is disposed to the body (1) and defines an inserting slot (611), in which the pin (72) is configured to be fitted with the inserting slot (611), and the power cord (71) is configured to be wound around the wire-winding frame (6).

A charging stand (100) for a vacuum cleaner (200) includes: a body (1), a charger (7) and a wire-winding frame (6). The charger (7) is connected with the body (1) via a power cord (71) and provided with a pin (72); the wire-winding frame (6) is disposed to the body (1) and defines an inserting slot (611), in which the pin (72) is configured to be fitted with the inserting slot (611), and the power cord (71) is configured to be wound around the wire-winding frame (6).
